Excellent product design: innovative freestanding appliances awarded with the German Design Award

Our latest range of peak freestanding appliances were among the winners at the German Design Awards 2023. The jury for the Excellent Product Design Kitchen category was impressed by the elegant design and intelligent freshness technologies. In total, seven refrigerators in the Prime and Peak series of the new freestanding range and the side-by-side combinations in SmartSteel and BlackSteel received the coveted award for outstanding product design.

German Design Award

The German Design Award has been presented by the German Design Council since 2012 and is one of the most prestigious international design awards. Entries are judged by an international jury made up of leading professionals from various design disciplines. The German Design Council is the Germany’s leading center of expertise for design, branding, and innovation.

Red Dot Design Award.

The first Red Dot Design Award was presented in 1954 and today it is one of the biggest and most respected design awards in the world. All participating products are individually evaluated by an independent and international specialist jury over a period of several days. The international jury only awards the coveted quality seal to products that are distinctive due to their outstanding design.

These freestanding fridge-freezers from the Prime and Peak series were Red Dot Award winners in 2022.
