They allow to service large areas on projects from one central location without having the need for multiple pieces of equipment running around, which obviously carries risk and additional costs as well.
For example the 81 K.1 is a 48-metre crane that can operate up to just under 40 metres under hook height, and all of that can take place from about a 20 by 20 square foot area on your job site once the crane is erected. This crane, in particular, has a very small footprint, as well as several different tower height configurations and jib configurations, making it quite universal on most projects.

Services & Solutions
Besides impressive products, Liebherr Tower Cranes provides reliable service coupled with a broad range of service solutions.
Liebherr Tower Cranes & Mobile Construction Cranes
The invention of the mobile tower crane in 1949 marked the birth of a new product and ultimately that of the entire Liebherr Group. Over the last 70-plus years, Liebherr Tower Cranes has become a globally successful tower crane supplier.
From residential projects to industry and infrastructure work, Liebherr has the right lifting technology for every construction site. So, fast-erecting cranes, top-slewing cranes, luffing jib cranes, special-purpose cranes and mobile construction cranes are all included in the product range on offer.
Technology and assistance systems
Modern crane technology ensures efficient, safe and reliable construction site operation. The high-tensile fibre rope, for example, which Liebherr fibre cranes come equipped with, combines significantly easier hoist rope handling with increased lifting capacity.
Plus, smart assistance systems (Tower Crane Litronic) provide support for the crane operator, even in the most challenging of situations. The tower crane-specific LiCAB operators cab also delivers in terms of ergonomics, size, visibility and comfort.
