A fully integrated bottom-freezer refrigerator fits into the kitchenette behind a furniture front and fits into available niches. In contrast, a freestanding bottom-freezer refrigerator can be flexibly placed anywhere in the room. Our freestanding appliances come with different surfaces such as stainless steel, BlackSteel or glass; in a range of different colors and with various printed images. In terms of features, total volume and cooling performance, however, both model types lack for nothing.
Bottom-freezer refrigerators come in different energy efficiency classes. The exact power consumption is noted on the respective energy label. With a Liebherr bottom-freezer refrigerator with A-rated energy efficiency, you save up to 2,000 kWh of electricity in contrast to a comparable appliance with E-rated energy efficiency over 15 years.
A bottom-freezer refrigerator has a separate freezer compartment with several drawers in addition to the refrigerator. The refrigerators come with an integrated freezer compartment or as a full-space refrigerator. Both refrigerators and bottom-freezer refrigerators are available as fully integrated or freestanding appliances.
For bottom-freezer refrigerators, the refrigerator and freezer compartments can be controlled independently of each other. The basic technology DuoCooling ensures that no air exchange takes place between the two parts in our appliances. Groceries do not dry out or spread odor. Our freshness technologies BioFresh Professional, BioFresh and EasyFresh ensure a longer shelf life and freshness for the food in the refrigerator compartment. You never have to defrost the freezer again with NoFrost, or do it much less often with SmartFrost.
Our bottom-freezer refrigerators are available in different sizes and dimensions. Freestanding bottom-freezer refrigerators are available in appliance heights from 40 inches to over 80 inches. You can choose between models up to 40 inches in width. Our fully integrated bottom-freezer refrigerators fit the usual niche dimensions. For example, there are appliances with a niche height of 48 inches to 84 inches and a niche width of 30 inches to 36 inches. With a total volume of 5.3 cubic feet to over 10.5 cubic feet, there is something for every household size.
The noise level of bottom-freezer refrigerators is playing an increasingly important role in modern living concepts. That's why we offer a wide range of extremely powerful appliances. In some cases, our freestanding and fully integrated models even reach an ultra-quiet 32 dB or less.
