Liebherr-MCCtec are pleased to announce that they have been awarded a gold medal from independent corporate responsibility auditor EcoVadis. 1,300 maritime cranes – from Rostock to the world

Since the start of production in 2005, Liebherr-MCCtec Rostock GmbH has manufactured and delivered over 1,000 maritime cranes. Today, the numerous mobile harbour, ship and offshore cranes are in use in over 100 countries on all continents. Now the 1,300th crane has left the Rostock premises to its destination in Ghana. Manufacturing of Liebherr Heavy Lift Crane 150000-3000 for Alfa Lift reaches key milestone

Inside the large industry halls of the Liebherr manufacturing site in Rostock, a noteworthy wedding took place for the new Heavy Lift Crane (HLC) 150000-3000, which marked the latest key milestone in its construction. The mechanical connection between the lower slewing column and the machinery frame was successfully realized to create the lower slewing unit of the HLC. Find out more

Cooperation for greener energy

Liebherr-MCCtec Rostock GmbH together with Aibel AS has signed a contract for the delivery of a cylinder-luffing crane, type RL 2600-35 Lit. The company TenneT TSO GmbH commissioned Aibel AS to build the offshore platform DolWin epsilon on which the Liebherr crane will be used for supply and maintenance tasks on the German North Sea. Heavy Lift Crane HLC 295000 to be repaired

Positive signals from Rostock: the offshore crane HLC 295000 from Liebherr is to be repaired. The crane, which is on board the special purpose vessel “Orion” and was damaged in the international Port of Rostock, will be completed in the course of 2021.
