Direct route to the customer

From Rostock (Germany) to the world - Liebherr's maritime cranes are shipped safely, efficiently and on schedule. The machines are delivered either dismantled, partially or completely assembled, mostly on ships or barges. Transportation by rail or road is also possible. With its direct connection to the sea, the Liebherr plant in Rostock is perfectly suited for the international shipment of large-scale equipment. Experienced teams of specialists have access to numerous loading options.

Loading by the RoRo method

RoRo stands for "roll on/roll off" and refers to ship transport in which the cargo is driven onto the vessel. This entails special ships with accessible decks, often with variable heights. Using this method, Liebherr mobile harbour cranes can be loaded fully assembled and fully functional. This means that the equipment is immediately ready for operation at the port of destination.
