Ulferts installs equipment on cruise ship using three Liebherr mobile cranes

236 metres long for 999 passengers – Meyer-Werft handed over the Spirit of Discovery to British shipping company Saga Cruises at the end of June in Emden. The final equipment was installed on the ship prior to this by three Liebherr mobile cranes. Crane and heavy haulage contractor Ulferts GmbH used two LTM 1250-5.1 cranes and an LTM 1100-5.2 for this work. Find out more

Liebherr delivers one hundredth LTM 1450-8.1 mobile crane to French crane hire contractor Bezombes

Liebherr MK 88 Plus as a space-saving miracle in the old city centre of Mainz

During the use of a Liebherr MK 88 Plus in the city centre of Mainz, the spontaneity of the crane driver and the flexibility of the mobile construction crane were essential: In very restricted space, crane requirements had been changed on site at short notice. Due to technical problems, an air conditioner had to be positioned on a different place on the roof of a commercial building at a greater distance to the crane. However, this was not possible from the planned place of installation because even from there, the maximum working radius had already been required for the lifting movement. Nevertheless, the team of the crane and heavy-duty logistics company Riga-Mainz found quickly a practicable solution for the new situation on site. Find out more

Hoisting over obstacles with Liebherr cranes – 108 tonne steel tank moved over 12 metre pipe bridge

Three large Liebherr mobile cranes were sent by crane and heavy haulage logistics contractor Maxikraft, which mainly operates in the east of Germany, to complete a tricky job at a chemical plant near Halle (Saale) – a storage tank weighing over 100 tonnes had to be transported from its assembly area through the factory site to its destination and then installed in the plant. The route through the factory site was blocked by a large pipe bridge. Find out more
