Liebherr unveils new LTC 1050-3.1 compact mobile crane at the Intermat 2015

Liebherr unveils its new LTC 1050-3.1 compact mobile crane, the successor to the LTC 1045-3.1, at the Intermat 2015 in Paris. The partial use of an even stronger fine-grain structural steel and improvements in the boom telescopes mean that the load capacity has been increased yet again whilst the dimensions have stayed almost identical. The Liebherr innovations VarioBase® and ECOmode mean that crane operators can use the new LTC 1050-3.1 with even more safety and efficiency. The 6-cylinder diesel engine meets the latest emissions regulations for Stage IV / Tier 4f. Find out more

Herbold takes delivery of new Liebherr LTM 1070-4.2 mobile crane

"Herbold makes heavy loads light" is the slogan used by family-run company Rolf Herbold GmbH based in Öhringen, the largest town in the District of Hohenlohe in Germany. Herbold only uses Liebherr mobile cranes. The company recently took delivery of a new LTM 1070-4.2 to replace a 14-year-old LTM 1060/2. Find out more

Liebherr MK 88 Plus mobile construction crane: the perfect option for more power

Wasel returns damaged container bridge to operation with Liebherr mobile and crawler cranes

The container bridge on the River Rhine near Dormagen which suffered damage in storms in June 2014 has been repaired. Heavy load logistics contractor Wasel repositioned the portal crane, which measures over 100 metres in length. The demanding job took a total of two days. Five Liebherr cranes were used for the job. Sommer positions 50-tonne tank in Bremen using Liebherr LTM 1300-6.2 mobile crane

In February the Airbus Plant in Bremen installed a massive tank to store hot water from its power plant. The Liebherr LTM 1300-6.2 mobile crane operated by Bremen-based Kranverleih Sommer took charge of the unloading and positioning of the 50-tonne steel tank. Find out more

Fangmann adds Liebherr LTM 1130-5.1 mobile crane to its fleet

Fangmann Industrie GmbH Co. KG took delivery of an LTM 1130-5.1 mobile crane at the Liebherr plant in Ehingen at the end of February. The 130-tonner on its five-axle chassis will extend and strengthen the company's fleet which previously only included mobile cranes with a load capacity of up to 100 tonnes. Find out more

Liebherr LTM 11200-9.1 hoists symbolic "M" on to one of the highest residential buildings in the Netherlands

The second-highest residential building in the Netherlands is 132 metres high and is located in Rotterdam. There is an 8-metre high letter on its roof. The "M" stands for "Montevideo", the name of the building. A Liebherr LTM 11200-9.1 mobile crane from crane contractor Van Marwijk Kraanverhuur B.V. hoisted the newly restored symbol on to the roof of the building in February. The total height including the "M" was 147 metres. Find out more

Rescue sheet for Liebherr mobile cranes increases safety for recovery work

Liebherr mobiles cranes which comply with stage 3b or over now come with a rescue sheet as standard. This shows the structure of the crane and any hazardous substances on it. It is a tool to provide valuable help to fire service and recovery personnel for rescuing personnel and recovering the mobile crane after an accident. The rescue sheet is located behind the driver's seat. Find out more
