Radio remote control for crawler cranes and deep foundation machines
Increased safety and flexibility while operating: At the press of a button all machine movements can be transferred to outside the cabin and carried out using radio remote control. The control is as precise as when carried out from the cab.
Assembly and disassembly
When loading or unloading piling or drilling rigs, remote control has great advantages, particularly regarding safety. Outside the cabin the driver can adopt different viewing angles and thus has a better overview when manoeuvring.
The erecting and laying down of the leader can also be done with remote control. Here it's also an advantage for the operator to change position in order to have a better view of collision points.
Lifting operation
During lifting operation the view of the load and unloading point is often obstructed from the operator’s cab. Using the remote control the crane driver can operate the machine from an optimum position, so eliminating the need for a guide or the danger of communication errors. This increases safety on the jobsite and enables quick and precise working cycles.
The remote control assumes all main functions such as turning on and off the engine, winches, crawlers and swing gear, A-frame, as well as main boom and jib.
