Airbus A310 becomes an attraction: Liebherr mobile cranes in use in the Serengeti Park

Two Liebherr mobile cranes from Schlamann Autokrane GmbH in Nienburg/Weser have unloaded a decommissioned Airbus A310 from heavy transport vehicles in the Serengeti Park and placed it on prepared bearings. In future, the aircraft will serve as an extraordinary restaurant and add an attraction to the leisure and safari park.

Liebherr doubles maintenance interval to 1,000 operating hours

More efficiency, less downtime – 1,000 instead of 500 operating hours: Liebherr doubles the maintenance interval for its Generation 6 material handling machines. While the first two maintenance intervals remain at 500 and 1,000 operating hours respectively, Liebherr is introducing the new interval from the third maintenance onwards. This is made possible by various optimisations in conjunction with Liebherr original spare parts and Liebherr lubricants in the corresponding machines.

Mammoet receives the first Liebherr LTM 1150-5.4E mobile crane with battery-electric drive

The international engineered heavy lifting and transport company Mammoet is the first customer to take delivery of the new Liebherr LTM 1150-5.4E mobile crane with battery-electric drive. While prototype testing is in advanced stages at Liebherr in Ehingen, the crane is now officially delivered to Mammoet where it is also being tested in practical use. The new Liebherr crane supports the company's sustainability strategy.
