About the RoleThe Earthmoving division has an opportunity due to growth for a Technical Support Advisor. In this role you will be responsible for the provision of high-level technical information and support to the Division and its Customers across Australia and New Zealand and will be the key contact in relation to equipment/system performance and trend analysis. The Technical Support Advisor provides an interface between the European factories and other service and support functions within the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert technical advice and support on Liebherr Earthmoving and Material Handling Equipment via phone, email or in-person.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment failures, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions.
- Travel to sites across Australia and New Zealand to assist with equipment failure diagnostics and repairs.
- Commissioning and testing of equipment.
- Analyse and report on technical trends, equipment performance, and customer feedback to improve product development and customer satisfaction.
- Liaise with EMT factories and implement factory improvements as required.
- Deliver training associated with technical information.
- Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers.
About you
- Trade qualifications in Mobile Plant Technology OR Engineering
- (Mechanical) Diesel Fitter
- 5+ years’ experience as a Service Technician with at least 3 years’ experience working with Earthmoving equipment.
- Experience with part lists, preparing quotes and order administration.
- Shows capability in creating a sense of partnership and forging strong relationships.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Hold a current driver’s license.
