Liebherr-Aerospace at Farnborough International Airshow 2018
Liebherr-Aerospace will participate in Farnborough International Airshow 2018, which takes place from July 16 to 20. Visitors to the company’s stand 41330 in hall 4 will be able to see products from the areas of flight control and actuation, air management, landing gear and gearboxes, as well as electronics.
A leading supplier to the aviation industry, Liebherr-Aerospace will again welcome partners, official delegations and visitors at Farnborough International Airshow. Highlight exhibits on the 250 m² stand include components for the wing tip folding system for the Boeing 777X aircraft program and a nose landing gear for the AW189 helicopter, which can be extended and retracted on the stand.
In addition, visitors will have the opportunity to discover innovations in research and development, such as the “Skin Heat Exchanger”, a heat exchanger that is an integral part of the aircraft structure. Further highlights include various weight-optimized components produced using the 3D printing process.
As an example regarding electronic components, a modular designed remote electronic control unit will be on display. The ingenious concept of the unit developed by Liebherr-Aerospace offers plenty of advantages, thanks to digitization and can be used flexibly in the aerospace and space industry.
