The interlock control system allows for power regeneration in dragline operation, reducing fuel consumption as well as wear and tear of the free-fall winch.

Maximum service life
During dragline operations, the HS 8300 must endure high dynamic stresses. Therefore, the steel construction is strengthened considerably.
