Energy efficiency redefined
When it comes to our larder fridges we believe that all good things come in fives. In addition to low energy consumption with quiet operation, more storage space, long service life and cooling power, our efficiency champions always impress thanks to intelligent sensors that adapt to current usage.
Frequently asked questions about our fridges
You can place a freestanding fridge wherever you like, regardless of your kitchen design. The models look good in large living kitchens in particular and offer maximum flexibility. An integrated fridge can be integrated directly into your kitchen with a colour-coordinated front, creating a harmonious overall look. Small kitchens in particular benefit from this fridge variant.
In addition to full-space fridges without a freezer compartment, we also offer fridges with a freezer compartment. This means that you always have good space for all kinds of food such as fruit, vegetables, yoghurt, cheese and sausages, and can also freeze food or store frozen food in the freezer compartment.
A fridge-freezer has its own separate freezer compartment with several drawers. Fridges, on the other hand, are available either as full-space fridges or have a star compartment with freezer compartment shelf. Both types of appliance are available as integrated or freestanding models.
The new EU energy labels have appeared on many electrical appliances, including fridges, since 1 March 2021. From it, you can see at a glance how energy-efficient a model is. The energy classes are now clearly divided into A to G, whereby the categories A+, A++ and A+++ have been removed. Read more about the new EU energy label on our Energy efficiency topic page.
Liebherr fridges are available in different sizes. This means that each model fits perfectly into your kitchen design. With a freestanding fridge, you can choose an appliance height of less than 100 cm up to 200 cm. The appliance depth is available from 65 to 80 cm, while an appliance width can also be narrower than 62 cm.
Integrated fridges are based on the niche dimensions of kitchen furniture. We offer models from niche height 82 cm to 213 cm and from 50 cm to 91.4 cm niche width, where 56 cm to 57 cm is the most common width.
The total volume of our fridges starts at 80 litres and extends to over 300 litres
Which size fridge can best meet your needs depends primarily on the size of your household. This determines the size including volume in litres. As a rule of thumb, for households with multiple people, you should account for around 60 to 70 litres per person. If you live in a 2-person household, then a fridge of about 140 litres is perfect; and for 4 persons, around 300 litres. Additionally, your lifestyle also plays a role. If you live alone, go to work every day and only buy groceries once a week for the whole week, the fridge will need to be a bit larger. Special freshness compartments for fruit, vegetables and meat, which extend the shelf life, are perfect in this situation.
