BioFresh for long-term freshness

A refrigerator with double doors offers you plenty of storage space for all the things you enjoy most. To ensure that fruit and vegetables, as well as meat or fish, feel right at home inside, we have developed the intelligent BioFresh freshness technology. This means that each food item is stored compartment by compartment in the optimum climate conditions – from high humidity and temperatures just above 32°F to icy cold at 28°F.

Side-by-Side fridges open up whole new dimensions for you in food storage. These refrigerators and freezers have a generous capacity and can be equipped with numerous practical functionalities such as an IceMaker. They owe their name to their division. They basically consist of two "sides" with their own doors, one serving as a refrigerator and the other as a freezer compartment. At Liebherr, you can experience far more flexibility with the smart Side-by-Side concepts. All appliances can be freely combined and stacked with each other – from refrigerator to freezer to wine appliance or full-space BioFresh. Your personal freshness center is waiting for you.

Thanks to the clever layout and the numerous combination options, you always have an overview in a Side-by-Side fridge-freezer, find what you're looking for more quickly and have unhindered access. Opening the sections separately ensures that constant temperatures can be maintained in each section. Side-by-Side fridges have a large capacity for all the things you love to enjoy. Wine lovers are also guaranteed to get their money's worth with a Side-by-Side wine fridge. The timeless design is contributing to Side-by-Side fridge-freezers with double doors becoming increasingly popular.

Since March 1, 2021, many electrical appliances, including Side-by-Side fridges, have carried the new EU energy label. The energy classes are now clearly divided into A to G, which allows you to immediately recognize the energy efficiency of the model. The categories A+, A++ and A+++ have been dropped. In our Side-by-Side fridges we have built in both our freshness technologies in the fridge and our refrigeration technologies in the freezer compartment. With BioFresh, NoFrost, PowerCooling and SuperFrost, your food stays fresher for longer with low energy consumption. In addition, you can choose Side-by-Side appliances with an IceMaker (Side-by-Side with fixed water connection), the EasyTwist-Ice System (Side-by-Side without fixed water connection) or an InfinitySpring water dispenser – according to your preferences.

Side-by-Side refrigerators come in different dimensions, so you can find one that fits your kitchen perfectly. The width of a Side-by-Side fridge starts at 40 inches and goes up to 58.5 inches. In terms of height, you can choose from 59 inches to 79 inches, while the depth ranges from 25.5 inches to 31.5 inches. Depending on your requirements, they offer a capacity of 21 cubic feet to 35 cubic feet.
