Responsibilities
- Provide knowledgeable support to both internal and external customers regarding parts and components for heavy-duty mining equipment.
- Manage and dispense parts inventory, ensuring accuracy and availability to support maintenance and repair operations.
- Assist customers by identifying required parts, recommending companion items, highlighting current promotions, and offering insight into the full Liebherr product line.
- Handle incoming parts inquiries via phone, email, or in person, delivering prompt and professional service.
- Determine customer needs and recommend appropriate products or solutions based on their requirements and expectations.
- Offer alternative parts when necessary, considering factors such as cost, availability, and specifications.
- Accurately process transactions including orders, quotes, and returns, ensuring all documentation is complete and correct.
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, including inquiries, issues, and resolutions.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and support monthly and annual inventory counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Process core returns according to Liebherr standards, ensuring correct classification and program compliance.
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support the efficiency and effectiveness of the parts department.
Competencies
- 1+ year of experience in a parts-related environment such as a warehouse, dealership, or service center
- You are able to effectively communicate detailed and complex information in a clear and concise manner
- You are self-motivated with the ability to work alone, unsupervised for extended periods of time
- Fully proficient with computers and Microsoft Office suite
- You have strong attention to detail and take pride in delivering accurate, high-quality work
- You demonstrate a willingness to learn and apply new skills in a fast-paced, technical environment
