A new crane cabin with improved ergonomics, size, visibility and comfort.

MORE COMFORT AND MORE SPACE

The LiCAB^® delivers a whole host of features to enable every crane operator to feel at home when he is at work. With a floor area of 2.35 m², the LiCAB^® has more space than any previous flat-top crane cabins. Well designed, tidy internal structure, the new control stand, which can be adjusted individually, and various other features deliver a perfect workplace.

UNRESTRICTED GOOD VIEW

In addition to its size, one of the main features of a crane cabin is the quality of the view it provides. Even from the outside it is obvious that the LiCAB^® has been completely redeveloped with special attention being given to improving visibility. Adjustments to both the design and material have resulted in an enlargement in viewing area by up to 25%.

CLEAR VISIBILITY

LiCAB^® provides a clear, safe view to the front and below: The cabin has safety glazing instead of the annoying strut to prevent the operator falling out. That enables the crane operator to have a perfect view of the site at all times, enhancing the safety of personnel and the machine.

CLEVER LAYOUT AND PRACTICAL FEATURES

The LiCAB^® crane cabin is not only larger, but also has a clever layout. In addition to precise compartments for the instruction manual, for example, the crane operator has several storage trays to keep his workplace tidy. More space also means more comfort. The equipment package in the LiCAB^® is appropriately wide-ranging.

STORAGE SPACE

The LiCAB^® has plenty of storage space and practical storage areas.

CONNECTORS

The crane cabin has three 220 V plug sockets and three USB ports.

RADIO

The same quality at altitude as at home: the integral radio creates a pleasant atmosphere.

DRINK HOLDER

The integral drink holder keeps cans and bottles secure.

SUPERLATIVE CONTROL STAND

Perfect conditions are required at the workplace to enable personnel to concentrate and be effective throughout their working day. The LiCAB^® provides the crane operator with all the comfort he needs.

INDIVIDUALLY ADJUSTABLE CONTROL STAND

The control stand can be adjusted ergonomically to the individual needs of each crane operator – by tilting, sliding and adjusting the armrests.

SMART OPERATING SYSTEM

Good visibility in the cabin not only depends on large viewing areas, but also on logical, simple operation. The crane is controlled using control levers, whilst there are robust membrane keys in easy reach for the cabin settings (for example the heating and air conditioning system and window wipers). All the settings are coordinated using the central multi-touch display. Everything is networked which means that every control displays the same information at the same time.

TOUCH DISPLAY

The tilting and slewing touch display is individually adjustable.

TC-OS

Easy menu navigation, clear control elements, intuitive presentation and a lot of flexibility in presenting the contents – this means that the Tower Crane Operation System TC-OS user interface makes work, service and scaling at the crane safe and effective.

PLEASANT CABIN ATMOSPHERE

The LiCAB^® has an extensive, revised ventilation concept. A total of ten adjustable air vents mean that the heated or cooled air streams can be regulated individually – both below the control stand and on the ceiling. The heating and air conditioning unit and the ventilation concept enable the required working temperature to be reached quickly and maintained – by either air conditioning or heating.
