Creating Passion: Your Responsibilities

• Revision of factory set up and machine layout, inspection and monitoring of production lines, introduction of guidelines for factory operations, Resource optimisation based on planned production, increase production productivity continuously.
• Overall responsibility for factory management, fabrication, assembly, testing and painting including management of multicultural labor force.
• Converting sales plan into a production plan, quarterly, monthly, week wise in close coordination with the planning department.
• Developing and launching a new production line for new factory setup.
• Complying with company policy and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Developing and execute production schedules based on business demands.
• Collaborate with interdepartmental managers to implement the company's strategies and goals.
• Conducting and moderation of the daily shopfloor meeting.
• Recruitment, training of new employees as well as disciplinary and functional management.
• Monitor work progress and downtime due to equipment and machine breakdowns, initiate appropriate countermeasures.
• Planning Implementation of cross-divisional SEP projects.
• Coordination of Test Centre activities with the design department.
• Ensure 100% quality by adhering to work instructions and working according to drawings in all stages of production and at all workplaces.
• Ensure a safe working environment by implementing safety awareness programmes and complying with regulations to ensure an injury-free working environment.
• Creating and supporting working atmosphere that enables employees to make the most of their abilities Qualification and Education Requirements.

Contributing Your Strengths: Your Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Production/Industrial or similar).
• Fluent in written and verbal communication in Marathi, Hindi and English.
• At least 12-15 years’ experience in Production Fabrication industry particularly in assembly & test.
• Experience in painting shop management is an advantage.
• Experience in logistics processes.
• Demonstrated ability in managing & leading a team of workforce (> 50 including blue collar).
• Understanding of best practices in LEAN management, manufacturing, inventory management, materials flow management, performance criteria for the production facility
• Knowledge about SEP process
• Analytical thinking, Cross-functional communication, and good leadership skills
• Structured, independent, and results-orientated way of working
• Experience in the production of technical devices and employee management.
• End-to-end thinking within the organization
• Willingness to resolve conflicts based on facts and figures.
