The Head Office Receptionist will demonstrate exemplary customer service as the first point of contact for visitors, guests and vendors of Liebherr-Canada. The role includes providing administrative support as required, while providing a high level of professionalism, quality work, tact, discretion and confidentiality. Embrace flexibility and bring your enthusiasm to our vibrant workplace as we redefine the standard for exceptional reception services. If you are someone who enjoys interacting with people, and is eager to take direction, we want to hear from you! *This position is Part Time, Monday through Friday, 25 hours per week with potential opportunity to Full Time hours*

Responsibilities

  • Provide a warm greeting to all visitors/clients/vendors as per established procedures.
  • Ensure all visitors/clients/vendors are signed in to the Visitor Kiosk.
  • Manage all incoming/outgoing mail/packages as per established procedures coordinating with the Shipping department for larger items as required.
  • Process invoices in Finance and Operational systems as per established procedures, efficiently, escalating as required.
  • Collaborate with assigned administrators and receptionists of the team to ensure a timely and accurate completion of all assigned tasks.
  • Maintain inventory levels of select office supplies as required.
  • Provide ad hoc administrative support as assigned.
  • Manage and maintain service platforms within the role of Receptionist.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Competencies

  • 5 years previous work experience as a receptionist or administrative assistant.
  • Minimum High School Diploma with Office Administration studies is preferred, working experience will be considered.
  • A demonstrated high degree of professionalism, interpersonal and collaboration skills.
  • Highly customer centric.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, maintain calm and redirect using tact.
  • Intermediate computer skills and an ability to learn new systems with ease.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage competing priorities.
  • Adaptable, committed to learning as the role evolves and the business needs change.
  • Bilingual in French and English considered an asset.
