Service Engineer Construction Machinery for our company in Hongkong (m/w/d)Hongkong

Responsibilities

- Diagnose, repair,  overhaul and readjust of construction machinery

- Assembly and commissioning of new machines

- Repair parts on cranes, either on the companies yard, in the workshop or in the field

- Apply / install factory issued updates and modifications

- Repair or replace damaged or worn parts

- Operate machines in order to diagnose defects

- Regular service attendances at customers sites

- Comply to applicable safety standards

- Represent LIEBHERR and its core values

Competencies

- Successful completed apprenticeship such as electronic/ mechatronic technician, agricultural mechanic or higher technical education

- Advanced knowledge in electrics and hydraulic systems

- Very good knowledge of English language. German language is considered as an advantage

- Organize, manage and complete projects individually and in team work

- Cooperate with all levels of staff

- Ability to multi-tasking while completing work in a competent and professional manner

- Willing to travel in the East Asian region such as China, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, etc.

- Willing to work overtime as well as on weekends or on call duty

- Basic knowledge of MS-Office

The company

Liebherr (HKG) Limited was established in 1994 in Hong Kong in order to expand sales activities to the entire East Asian region in the product areas crawler cranes, both duty cycle and lift versions, as well as piling and drilling rigs. In the year 2000, a new sales and service company with a total area of 23,000m² was founded. It fulfils the latest market requirements and offers complete customer service thanks to an incorporated repair and maintenance workshop, a customer service and parts centre, as well as a training centre. In this facility, approximately 100 experienced employees provide high quality service to our customers. In addition, we also have mobile cranes and earthmoving equipment, such as dozers, wheel loaders and excavators, for all kinds of jobsite applications. Moreover, we act as a dealer for concrete technology, which includes truck mixers, batching plants, and recycling plants. These are supported by our service team to fulfil local market requirements. With such a wide portfolio, we ensure that the demands for construction machinery are covered and that we support the future growth in this segment. In the household appliance sector, Liebherr has appointed local distributors for the sales of refrigeration and freezing appliances and for the provision of customer support in this field.
