Liebherr delivers eight new cranes to LEONHARD WEISS

Order via distribution partner Nagel includes eight cranes – among them two 370 EC-B 16 Fibre and two 240 EC-B 10 Fibre. Liebherr and Nagel also deliver four 91K cranes with new assistance systems to LEONHARD WEISS.

Matthias Knorr (Area Sales Manager, Liebherr), Alexander Weiss (Managing Partner, LEONHARD WEISS), Kevin Dittrich (Head of Site Services, LEONHARD WEISS), Matthias Kraft (Procurement – Technology, LEONHARD WEISS), Thomas Denk (Machinery Technology, LEONHARD WEISS), Marco Guariglia (Managing Director, Liebherr Tower Cranes), Viktor Wuckert (Head of Procurement – Technology, LEONHARD WEISS), Jürgen Voß (Director of Technology – Procurement and Warehouse Management, LEONHARD WEISS), Robert Kreß (Managing Director, Road and Network Construction, LEONHARD WEISS), Steffen Schönfeld (Managing Director, Engineering and Turnkey Construction, LEONHARD WEISS), Philipp Nagel (Nagel Group), Philipp Schmelzer (Head of Construction Equipment, Site Services Technology), Marcus Herwarth (CEO, LEONHARD WEISS), Jochen Nagel (Nagel Group), Luis Erb (Nagel Baumaschinen Ulm GmbH), and Mert Aydin (Nagel Baumaschinen Ulm GmbH)

Liebherr is supplying flat-top cranes in the 370 metre-tonne class as well as cranes featuring the updated Fibre technology to construction company LEONHARD WEISS. The order, carried out in cooperation with Liebherr’s long-standing distribution partner Nagel Baumaschinen Ulm GmbH, includes a total of eight cranes: in addition to four fast-erecting cranes from the new K series, the delivery also includes two 240 EC-B 10 Fibre and two 370 EC-B 16 Fibre flat-top cranes.

LEONHARD WEISS relies on Liebherr Technology

A key feature of the ordered flat-top cranes is Liebherr’s updated Fibre rope, which stands out for its simplified handling, increased lifting capacity of up to 20 percent, and a comprehensive safety concept. The latest generation of the rope, being presented at Bauma 2025, also offers an extended service life and new options for shortening the rope in the event of damage – a great advantage in terms of availability and maintenance.

The order is complemented by four 91K fast-erecting cranes, which are equipped with Liebherr’s latest assistance systems. These enable precise, semi-automated, and safe operation on site.

Strong partnership with Nagel and LEONHARD WEISS

The partnership between LEONHARD WEISS, Nagel, and Liebherr has been built on mutual trust and ongoing development for many decades. The recent investment underlines the commitment of both the distributor and the customer to Liebherr’s innovation and quality.

This crane package is also part of a larger investment project by LEONHARD WEISS through Nagel, involving a substantial order of Liebherr earthmoving equipment. The order includes, 41 rail-road excavators, 35 wheeled excavators, 20 crawler excavators, and a crawler loader.
