Bauma 2025: Liebherr demonstrates the future of construction and mining with ‘Hands on the future’
At Bauma 2025 in Munich, Liebherr is presenting itself as a pioneer and technology leader in many industries. Guided by the motto ‘Hands on the future’, the Group is presenting future-oriented exhibits, technological innovations and practical solution concepts for increased efficiency, safety and environmental compatibility – for the construction and mining industry of the future. Not only can visitors look forward to around 100 machine exhibits, components and technologies, but also a varied programme with live shows on Liebherr Square, an InnovationLab, theme pavilions and a career lounge.

The future is within touching distance: Liebherr wins an innovation award at Bauma 2025
Liebherr is bringing some 100 or so exhibits to Bauma 2025, to be displayed to the public on an exhibition space spanning more than 15,000 square metres. To kick off proceedings for the exhibition, the evening before the doors opened was marked with a ceremony to present the innovation award. The innovation award honours groundbreaking developments across five categories in the construction, construction material and construction machine industry. 2025 sees the coveted prize awarded for a 14th time. Liebherr was among those taking part and was presented with the innovation award for the category ‘Digitalisation’ at the awards ceremony. The product crowned the winner was none other than ‘Liebherr Autonomous Operations’, which is propelling the construction site closer to the future.

Liebherr InnovationLab at Bauma 2025 – experience future technologies at close hand
Under the motto ‘Hands on the future’, Liebherr is showcasing practical products, technologies and solutions for the future of the construction and mining industry at Bauma 2025. ‘Hands on the future’: Liebherr presents solutions for the construction sites of the future at Bauma 2025
‘Hands on the future’: At Bauma 2025, on an area spanning roughly 14,000 m2, Liebherr is displaying more than 70 future-focused exhibits from the product segments of earthmoving machinery, material handling technology, mining, mobile and crawler cranes, tower cranes, deep foundation machines, concrete technology and components. This motto encapsulates the way the Group is tackling tomorrow’s challenges today and working hand-in-hand with its customers to devise solutions, proving themselves as a dependable partner. Theme pavilions and an InnovationLab offer deeper insights into the world of technology and innovation, both today and tomorrow.

Liebherr presents LiReCon remote control system at Bauma 2025
At Bauma 2025, Liebherr will be demonstrating a new era in the operation of construction machinery: the Liebherr Remote Control System (LiReCon). The earthmoving and tower crane product segments will be demonstrating the practical application of this technology using a crawler excavator, a crawler dozer and a tower crane.

R 920 G8-E: Presenting the first battery-powered electric crawler excavator at Bauma 2025
Liebherr-France SAS is the global development centre of the Liebherr Group for crawler excavators for earthmoving. We are exhibiting our first ever battery-powered electric crawler excavator, the R 920 G8-E, at Bauma 2025 in Munich. The R 920 G8-E has the same capability level as a crawler excavator with combustion engine and features particularly low noise levels and a lack of emissions. The model is ideal for building sites in cities.

Worldwide début at Bauma 2025: The new R 917 Compact G8 crawler excavator
With the R 917 Compact G8.0 crawler excavator and the R 915 Compact G8 that is also being introduced at Bauma 2025, Liebherr France SAS is completing the range of crawler excavators developed and manufactured in Colmar. With an operating weight of around 17.5 tonnes, the new machine joins the Liebherr model range of compact crawler excavators over 14 t and therefore makes the model range one of the most comprehensive on the market.

Exhibition at Bauma 2025: Liebherr R 915 Compact G8 crawler excavator
As the smallest machine in the product range developed by-France SAS in Colmar (France), the R 914 Compact G6 crawler excavator will be replaced by the R 915 Compact G8 in the future. The R 915 Compact G8 is the youngest model in the range from the Liebherr location in France, and will début at Bauma 2025. The product range of Liebherr compact crawler excavators therefore comprises five different machines: R 915 Compact, R 917 Compact, R 920 Compact, R 926 Compact and R 936 Compact.

LH 40 M Port E and LH 60 M High Rise Port E: Electrifying in port handling
Port handling is going electric: With the LH 40 M Port E and LH 60 M High Rise Port E, Liebherr is presenting two electric material handlers at Bauma that have been specially designed for the efficient handling of bulk and general cargo in ports.

L 507 E: Liebherr’s battery-electric wheel loader
The L 507 E battery-electric wheel loader has been available from Liebherr sales partners in several European countries since Octobre 2023. The model is the first electric wheel loader in the group. It combines the demonstrable advantages of a Liebherr Stereoloader with a battery-electric drive design developed by Liebherr.

Innovations in Liebherr wheel loaders: autonomous operation and hydrogen drive
At Bauma 2025, Liebherr-Werk Bischofshofen GmbH will be showcasing two innovations which represent the latest advancements in digitalisation and drive technologies – the “Liebherr Autonomous Operations” system and the first large wheel loader with a hydrogen engine. The autonomous solution, which is at an advanced stage of development, allows completely driverless operation and is particularly suitable for monotonous routine tasks and operations in hazard zones. In addition, Liebherr's autonomous system is currently one of few products still under consideration for the Innovation Award at bauma, the leading trade fair in the construction industry. Alongside this groundbreaking debut, Liebherr will also be presenting pioneering advancements in drive technologies: the L 566 H is the first prototype of a large wheel loader with a hydrogen engine, thus expanding the range of alternative drive systems. After Bauma 2025, Liebherr will begin a two-year trial of this machine at STRABAG, one of Europe’s leading construction technology groups.

Liebherr wheeled excavators A 909 Compact and A 911 Compact are making their debut at Bauma
This year's Bauma will see a special première: Liebherr is presenting two new wheeled excavators to the public for the first time. The A 909 Compact and the A 911 Compact are two new models in the nine and eleven tonne classes, respectively, that expand the Liebherr wheeled excavator portfolio.

Setting the course for the future: RE 25 M railroad excavator celebrates its premiere at Bauma 2025
Liebherr is presenting its new railroad excavator under a new product name for the first time at Bauma 2025: the RE 25 M Litronic. The model expands the existing portfolio with a machine in the 25-tonne class with hydrostatic rail wheel drive and a profiled uppercarriage.

INTUSI: Intuitive operating concept for a new age of communication
It is the key to the Internet of Things for Liebherr construction and material handling machines: the innovative, adaptive INTUSI concept. First presented at Bauma 2019 and continuously developed, Liebherr is showing INTUSI for the first time directly on selected construction machines at Bauma 2025.

Liebherr is launching two world premières at Bauma 2025: the new Generation 6 of the Telescopic Handler and the entry into the 8-Metre Class
At Bauma 2025, Liebherr is making the first public presentation of the new Generation 6 of the Telescopic Handler. With the new edition of the “S” Telescopic Handlers, in the lower performance class up to 4.2 tonnes, the load capacities have been increased by up to nine percent. The revised cabin has a great deal to offer in driver comfort. Newly introduced Assistance Systems are expanding the application capabilities and make the machine more pleasant and safer to operate. With the new T 48-8s Telescopic Handler, Liebherr is entering the 8-Metre Class for the first time, thereby expanding its product range in the industrial segment.

Special machine: Liebherr presents the R 930 Tunnel crawler excavator at Bauma
Developed at Liebherr-France SAS in Colmar (France), the R 930 Tunnel replaces the R 924 Compact Tunnel and allows high-level performance in all types of underground applications. With the R 950 Tunnel, the R 930 Tunnel completes the range of crawler excavator dedicate to tunnel applications.

First electric duty cycle crawler crane: HS 8100.2 dual power
The first all-electric duty cycle crawler crane from Liebherr is one of the highlight exhibits at this year’s Bauma. With the HS 8100.2 dual power, the Liebherr Group is promoting the development of machines with the advantages of zero emission. The model offers various drive alternatives depending on the conditions on the jobsite and is a powerful all-rounder with its 30-tonne free-fall winches.

Slurry wall cutter LSC 8-20 and duty cycle crawler crane HS 8130.1
At this year’s Bauma, Liebherr is presenting the new package for demanding slurry wall work consisting of a duty cycle crawler crane and cutter. With new motorisation and 35-tonne free-fall winches, the HS 8130.1 is a real workhorse and can be used universally as a carrier machine. In combination with the higher torque of the LSC 8-20 cutter, the powerful duo is ideally suited for deep slurry walls with thicknesses of up to 2 metres.

More depth with the drilling rig LB 45.1
At this year's Bauma, Liebherr will be presenting the latest generation of the LB 45.1 drilling rig in the field of deep foundation. Thanks to the new lattice boom extension and innovative assistance systems such as the overload protection of the Kelly winch, the model sets new standards in application. The machine combines high performance, flexibility and efficiency and offers the best possible driver comfort with the new cab concept.

New piling and drilling rig: LRB 19
With the new LRB 19 piling and drilling rig, Liebherr is launching the successor to the tried-and-tested LRB 16 and LRB 18 models. The compact all-rounder is designed for all common applications in the deep foundation sector. The vibrator, hammer or rotary drive can be easily exchanged using a hydraulic quick connection system. A powerful 450 kW engine provides the necessary capacity for all operations.

S1 Vision: the latest innovation in material haulage
The S1 Vision, Liebherr’s innovative haulage concept with a design that focuses on the core components necessary for moving material, will be on display at this year’s Bauma exhibition at the InnovationLab on the Liebherr booth. In addition, Liebherr's prototype truck is currently one of few products still under consideration for the Innovation Award at bauma, the leading trade fair in the construction industry.

Liebherr on show at Bauma 2025; the new PR 776 Generation 8 Crawler Dozer
At Bauma 2025, Liebherr is presenting its flagship mining dozer, the eighth generation PR 776 Crawler Dozer, fully equipped for the demands of mining and quarrying operations. Together with the new PR 766 G8 and the smaller PR 756 G8 launched at the beginning of 2021, Liebherr is expanding its comprehensive range of state-of-the-art mining dozers.

Liebherr to present its latest mining solutions at Bauma
At this year’s Bauma, Liebherr will present its latest solutions for the mining industry, including the autonomous battery-electric T 264 haul truck; the R 9400 E electric excavator; the new integrated technology portfolio, IoMine; and a range of comprehensive service solutions.

"Zero emissions, full power": Liebherr LTM 1150-5.4E mobile crane with electric drive
At Bauma 2025, Liebherr is presenting the LTM 1150-5.4, which has been converted to the new LICCON3 control system generation. A particular highlight is the LTM 1150-5.4E variant with electric drive, which allows the crane movements to be performed emissions-free and with reduced noise pollution. With an integrated battery, the crane can work autonomously for up to four hours without a power connection, and a low connected load on the construction site is sufficient to utilise the crane's full power, as the battery acts as an efficient buffer. The LTM 1150-5.4E meets the requirements of "Zero Emissions Construction Sites" and combines sustainability with maximum efficiency.

It's a matter of control: Liebherr presents LTM 1150-5.4, another mobile crane with new LICCON3 control system
Liebherr is pushing ahead with the modernisation of the crane technology and is presenting the latest generation of the 150-tonne crane, the LTM 1150-5.4. As part of the introduction of the new LICCON3 control system, the tried-and-tested LTM 1150-5.3 has been further developed. The 5-axle crane now shines not only with state-of-the-art technology, but also with the trend-setting crane design of the new series. In addition, the LTM 1150-5.4 is equipped with new driver assistance systems to increase driving safety on the road. Visitors can experience the result live: The LTM 1150-5.4 can be seen on the Liebherr stand at Bauma in Munich.

Less weight for heavy lifting: Liebherr LTM 1055-3.3 mobile crane takes mobility to a new level
Liebherr presents the lightest 3-axle all-terrain crane on the market at Bauma. The LTM 1055-3.3 redefines mobility, because complex and restrictive driving permits are a thing of the past. Low axle loads and gross vehicle weights enable comprehensive long-term driving permits on a large number of markets worldwide. Despite the lightweight design of the new 55-tonne crane, it offers high lifting capacities with its 40-metre telescopic boom, especially for medium and large radii.

Game of Cranes: Liebherr is looking for the world’s best mobile crane driver
Which company employs the best mobile crane driver? The crane manufacturer from Ehingen (Germany) is inviting its customers’ crane drivers to take part in the international “Game of Cranes” competition.

Mobile and crawler cranes from Liebherr: digital in operation, digital at Bauma
From lift planning and crane operator training to maintenance, Liebherr-Werk Ehingen GmbH will be presenting its digital solutions for crane operation at Bauma 2025: visitors to the trade fair can find out about new products and updates both in the outdoor area in the mobile and crawler crane section and in the “Digital Technologies & Services” indoor area opposite.

Systematic maintenance: Liebherr presents concept for the Digital Service Booklet
Liebherr-Werk Ehingen GmbH is presenting its concept for the Digital Service Booklet at Bauma 2025. The tool simplifies the maintenance and servicing of mobile cranes and provides both service technicians and crane operators with a user-friendly platform for managing service and maintenance information. This means that all information about the life cycle of a mobile crane can be collected online in one place and viewed at any time.

Crawler crane LR 1400.1 SX enhanced with derrick equipment
At this year’s Bauma, the crawler crane LR 1400.1 SX will be presented for the first time with derrick equipment and suspended counterweight. For particularly heavy lifting operations and long boom combinations, the lifting capacities can be improved and the range of applications extended by using the derrick equipment. The fine adjustment of the suspended counterweight using VarioTray and the position monitoring make the crane safe and flexible to use.

It`s a matter of control: Liebherr 120-tonne mobile crane with new LICCON3 control system
Liebherr presents a further crane model with the new LICCON3 control system: The LTM 1120-4.1 becomes the LTM 1120-4.2. The 4-axle 120-tonne crane is also characterised by the new future-oriented crane design. In addition, the LTM 1120-4.2 is equipped with the TraXon DynamicPerform oil-cooled starting clutch and new driver assistance systems for increasing driving safety on the road. Liebherr will be exhibiting the LTM 1120-4.2 at Bauma in Munich.

Electrifying: LR 1300.2 SX unplugged
Crawler crane LR 1300 celebrates its 18th anniversary this year. At Bauma, Liebherr is presenting the 300-tonne model for the first time as a battery-powered unplugged version with the advantages of zero emission.

Liebherr assistance system for fast-erecting cranes makes semi-automated crane operation possible
The intelligent assistance system Positioning Pilot enables the crane operator to semi-automatically access several stored hook positions without sway and travel individually mapped routes. Safety on site is also increased through the semi-automatic driving of predefined distances. The crane operator is freed from repetitive, monotonous lifting tasks with help from this assistant. In addition, Liebherr's assistant system is currently one of few products still under consideration for the Innovation Award at bauma, the leading trade fair in the construction industry.

Liebherr showcases new mobile concrete mixing plant at Bauma
Liebherr has been developing and marketing mixing plants for concrete production for 70 years. This long-standing experience is now also reflected in the new ‘Mobilmix’ series. The largest version with a 4 m³ double-shaft mixer will be on show for the first time at Bauma.

Liebherr truck-mounted concrete pumps for concreting in halls, buildings and tunnels
Concreting in existing buildings, tunnels and halls as well as in bridge construction is particularly challenging due to the confined spaces and low ceiling heights. A working area that is as flexible as possible, precise movements of the boom arm and sufficient storage space for hoses and pipes are extremely important. Liebherr offers two powerful truck-mounted concrete pumps for this application: the 24 XH and the new 31 XXT.

Energy storage and energy planning for construction sites
The Liduro Power Port (LPO) is an energy storage system for power supply on construction sites. It allows for locally emission-free operation and charging of hybrid or fully electric construction machinery and equipment. The high power density and compact design of the LPOs enable an efficient and flexible supply of machines or construction sites with diverse power requirements.

Assistance system by and for machine manufacturers: 360° person recognition for greater work safety and efficiency
At Bauma 2025, Liebherr-Components will be presenting the most recent version of its 360° surround view system. With the new generation of cameras and displays, the company is equipping its solutions with advanced, even more powerful components. It is also possible to retrofit existing machine fleets with the system.
