Last month, Liebherr Singapore completed the 500th in-house repair of a heat transfer equipment, this time a full recoring of an A320 primary heat exchanger.
The Liebherr team was able to celebrate this great achievement only seven months after the start of its heat exchanger MRO capability thanks to great teamwork and excellent collaboration across Liebherr-Aerospace’s service network.
With this latest capability extension, Liebherr Singapore has further extended the availability of in-region component MRO services to the benefit of its customers in the APAC region, who have already started to enjoy shorter repair turnaround times. At the same time, this set up avoids overseas shipments of repair components and thus will help to significantly reduce related carbon emissions.
Such MRO capabilities include full recoring of heat transfer equipment. After recoring the item is in essence overhauled and thus can be considered 0-hours or as good as new.
