The Chinese civil aircraft manufacturer COMAC has honored Liebherr-Aerospace with the “2023 Supplier of the Year Win-Win Cooperation Award” for outstanding support of the landing gear system on board the single aisle aircraft C919. The award ceremony recently took place at the annual supplier conference in Shanghai.
Liebherr-Aerospace is responsible for the development, manufacturing, and support of the landing gear system as well as the integrated air management system for the C919.
The OEM has been supporting COMAC's aircraft programs for many years, with the final assembly line, flight tests and other technical support on site. Liebherr is also supplying the landing gear system as well as the integrated air management system for COMAC's ARJ21.
