About the Role

We have a challenging and rewarding role for a qualified and experienced Mobile Crane Technician who can you work independently, diagnose complex faults, and carry out repairs and maintenance with minimal supervision.  This new role is part of our growing Liebherr Mobile Crane division and service team.  As a Field Service Technician, you will be based in the Auckland region and will work in the Field across New Zealand to deliver the highest level of Customer Service, whilst maintaining and repairing our range of mobile and crawler cranes.

Key Responsibilities

• Mechanical, Hydraulic and Electrical diagnosis
• Major and minor services
• Maintenance and component replacements
• New machines build as required
• Complete detailed service reports
• Expand and maintain customer relationships in the field
• Maintain the professional profile, high quality and Customer Service standards
• Undertake training to gain new skills.

About you

• Trade qualification in the Heavy Plant, Mechanical or Auto Electrical field
• Flexibility to travel to customer sites and work over-time as required
• Previous experience working on Liebherr Mobile Cranes and related equipment is preferred
• Excellent diagnostic and computer skills
• A current driver’s license
• Able to communicate effectively with customers, supervisors and colleagues
• Willingness to work overtime/on call when required
