The all-round talent in the fleet of Jüly Abfallservice
Equipped with solid rubber tyres, a hydraulic quick release system and a bucket with top clamp, the Liebherr T 60-9s is capable of a wide range of tasks at Jüly Abfallservice GesmbH, in Austria.
Jüly Abfallservice GesmbH is a family-owned business and, since its foundation in 1955, it has grown from an agricultural operation in cesspit emptying to a modern waste management company. The company, from Bruck an der Leitha, combines innovative and sustainable approaches with competent partners and consistent continuity to make a significant contribution to the waste disposal operations in Eastern Austria.
The range of services provided by the waste management company includes drain and sewer cleaning, trough and container services, event disposal services, portable toilet rental, municipal organic and paper waste disposal, catering and cleaning services as well as building cleaning.
The pressure on time in the waste management industry is high, which demands the quickest possible unloading and sorting of a wide variety of materials. It was also important to increase machine up-time by using the combination of a hydraulic quick coupling system with appropriate equipment.
A Liebherr telescopic handler is one of the critical pieces of equipment, deployed at the company premises, for all handling and loading activities. Sharp metal parts, nails and other pointed objects at the recycling depot result in heavy wear on the tyres. The telescopic handler was equipped with solid rubber tyres so that the operator and the machine can manoeuvre safely at all times.
In the final analysis, we selected Liebherr because the overall package was right. Quality was important to us - and now we have a high-performance machine from Austria with the best on-site service support.
About the T 60-9s
Fast, Agile, Powerful: Day in – day out, the T 60-9s is impressive
The T 60-9s is in use all year round for a range of loading tasks, from sorting and compressing waste to loading and unloading containers.
In waste management companies, it is important to make optimum use of space. This is where the universal application of the Liebherr telescopic handler really scores. Because it is fast and agile and has powerful operating hydraulics, its positive strengths really come to the fore when handling large quantities of material. Equipped with a Deutz diesel engine, rated at 115 kW / 156 hp (ISO 14396) and emission level IV / Tier 4, the T 60-9s can be operated in a particularly energy-efficient manner. The infinitely variable hydrostatic drive guarantees maximum traction in every work situation.
The optional Auto-Power function ensures fast loading cycles, as it allows the engine speed to be automatically adjusted - without changing the driving speed. By automatically activating the parking brake, the standard Liebherr-Hill-Assist provides safety and high levels of driving comfort when driving over uneven terrain.
The newly designed chassis frame and the balanced wheelbase ensure a low centre of gravity. As a result, the stability of Liebherr telescopic handlers is just as impressive when loading or when stacking. The end position damping, installed as standard in the lifting and telescopic cylinder, ensures safe movement of the load even with an extreme boom position. And with generous interior space and class-leading visibility in all directions, the cab of the telescopic handler is a joy to use.
