Right from the development stage, we make sure that the technologies take into account the respective needs of the food in terms of freshness and shelf life. Thanks to DuoCooling or Dual Cooling, the temperature in our fridge-freezers can be set and controlled precisely and independently in the refrigerator and freezer compartments. This benefits the freshness and shelf life of your food.
Fridge-freezers with DuoCooling.
All fridge-freezers, i.e. those appliances where these two sections have their own temperature control, feature DuoCooling. This means that: the refrigerator and freezer compartments are not connected via an opening, so no air is exchanged between them. The advantage is that: DuoCooling or Dual Cooling prevents food from drying out, keeping it fresh for longer. Odours from stored food are also prevented from passing from the freezer compartment to the refrigerator compartment, and vice versa.
