Even more power for Canada's south-west
At Bauma 2025, J.D.A. Cranes took delivery of two new Liebherr mobile cranes: an LTM 1400-6.1 and an LTM 1160-5.2. The 400-tonne crane will be the most powerful crane in the fleet and will be used in north-west Alberta and north-east British Columbia – including in wind farms and in the oil and gas industry.

Strong in the wind: AG Transport invests in second LR 1800-1.0
The Czech company AG Transport ordered an additional Liebherr LR 1800-1.0 crawler crane at Bauma 2025 – this time with the new X3A boom system. With this investment, the crane and transport service provider is specifically responding to the increasing demand in the wind energy sector.

The Chilean company MPM has taken delivery of five new Liebherr mobile cranes: an LTM 1230-5.1, LTM 1250-5.1, LTM 1300-6.3, LTM 1450-8.1 and an LTM 1750-9.1.

At Bauma: Liebherr-Mischtechnik GmbH deepens business relations with customer Brice Aggregates
The Liebherr-Mischtechnik GmbH is pleased to intensify its business relationship with Brice Aggregates at this year's Bauma. In the context of Bauma, the customer agreed to purchase a new Mobilmix 2.5 concrete mixing plant. In addition to the order for the Mobilmix 2.5 mixing plant, Brice Aggregates also agreed to purchase 10 Liebherr HTM 905 truck mixers. Brice is a well known customer of Liebherr UK.

Order via distribution partner Nagel includes eight cranes – among them two 370 EC-B 16 Fibre and two 240 EC-B 10 Fibre. Liebherr and Nagel also deliver four 91K cranes with new assistance systems to LEONHARD WEISS.

Handover of a customised Liebherr R 998 SME crawler excavator to Prangenberg & Zaum GmbH
During Bauma, the managing directors of Prangenberg & Zaum GmbH (P&Z) – a family-run German company specialising in demolition and restoration – were handed the keys to their first Liebherr crawler excavator, an R 998 SME. At P&Z’s request, the 100-tonne-plus machine was specially modified in several ways, in particular for optimal use with an 11-tonne shear.

More safety on the road: Liebherr wins ESTA Award in the Safety category
The winners of the ESTA Awards of Excellence 2025 were announced at an awards ceremony in Munich on 10 April. Liebherr was honoured in the Safety category for the introduction of driver assistance systems for mobile cranes: These systems ensure greater safety in road traffic and focus in particular on protecting vulnerable road users such as pedestrians and cyclists. Liebherr is the first mobile crane manufacturer to introduce these driver assistance systems.

The Mexican heavy lifting company ESEASA has taken delivery of five new Liebherr mobile cranes – including two LTM 1650-8.1, two LTM 1400-6.1 and one LTM 1250-5.1. The machines will be used in the wind industry, in the oil and gas sector and on road and infrastructure projects throughout Mexico.

At Bauma, Liebherr officially handed over the first LRB 19 to Kurt Motz Baubetriebsgesellschaft. The compact piling and drilling rig is one of seven machines with which the company has continually expanded its fleet over recent months.
