LRB 16

Piling and drilling rig (LRB series)

The all-round piling and drilling rig LRB 16 owes its name to the sledge’s travel distance of 16 m. It convinces with compact design and low operating weight, which results in low ground pressure. This ensures quick set-up on site as well as flexibility in transferring the machine between different jobsites. One of the most frequent types of application for the LRB 16 is the installation of slurry walls. Eco silent mode

With the eco silent mode the engine speed can be reduced to a predefined, required level. With this feature a notable reduction in diesel consumption can be achieved without any impact on operational output. Noise emissions are thus also lowered.

Kelly drilling

Kelly drilling belongs to the most common dry rotary drilling methods. Soil and rock material is conveyed to the surface discontinuously with relatively short rotary drilling tools.

Vibrating

Vibrating allows for installing and extracting elements using harmonious vibration.

Continuous flight auger drilling

The loosened soil material is continuously conveyed to the surface using a continuous auger, the so-called continuous flight auger.

Impact driving

Impact driving uses a hydraulic hammer for the installation of various types of pile. The hammer’s ram mass impacts on the pile.

Double rotary drilling

Double rotary drilling combines continuous flight auger drilling with a continuous casing.

Wet soil mixing

For wet mixing a self-hardening suspension is introduced into the ground.
