As a Service Consultant you will play a key role in supporting our Customer Service department. You will primarily be responsible for the preparation of technical quotations, project management, business development and contributing to continuous improvement.
Key elements of the role
Responsibilities shall include but are not limited to the following.
- Interpret and manage customer requirements, including communication with customers and agents.
- Generate technical quotations based on customer requirements.
- Liaise with internal departments and Liebherr’s global network of mixed sales companies (MSC) to develop and prepare quotations.
- Develop standard pricing structures and options for customer service products.
- Provide technical sales assistance during meetings and presentations.
- Liaise with internal departments to manage projects internally and ensure on time delivery.
- Prepare and analyse contract documentation, project planning, costing, after calculations and monitoring.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to customers.
- Establish new and develop existing relationships with customers.
- Establish and maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and targets.
- Maintain accurate records for activity and work completed.
- Maintain a customer-centric approach in all interactions.
- Ensure quality, environmental and Health & Safety standards are always maintained.
- Any other duties and tasks as may be assigned from time to time.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and improving the customer experience.
Qualifications, experience & competencies
- Suitable third level qualification or trade an advantage.
- Previous experience in technical sales an advantage.
- Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
- Prior experience in a customer focused environment an advantage.
- Experience working with an ERP system an advantage, e.g., SAP, Infor.
- Planning and organising.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate and interact with team members, management, and customers.
- Customer orientated.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize.
- Proactive attitude.
- Flexibility to self-learn and improve.
- Have a careful, conscientious, and methodical approach.
