Features of our wine storage fridges
Optimum humidity for corks
If you store wines for a long period of time, a dry climate can be detrimental to them. The cork in particular becomes brittle and begins to shrink. Our wine storage fridges maintain a constant humidity level of over 50%, which can also be individually adjusted in some cases. If the value drops below this, you will be informed by an audio alarm signal.
Electronic control for precise settings
A storage fridge for wines combines precise electronic control and state-of-the-art climate control technology. Up to two temperature sensors ensure that your wines remain protected from any temperature fluctuations. If a sensor detects a critical temperature change, you are informed immediately, allowing you to react.
Fresh air quality inside
As a wine lover, you know best how important the quality of the ambient air is when storing wine. So do we, of course. The replaceable FreshAir activated charcoal filter therefore ensures an ideal supply of fresh air and optimum air quality.
Insulated glass doors for strong UV protection
If ultraviolet rays come into contact with wines, they can have a significant impact on quality. A bottle on its own does not provide sufficient protection. This is why the glass front of a wine storage fridge is made of UV-resistant insulating glass. Radiation exposure is reduced and almost all harmful UV radiation is reflected.
LED lighting provides a clear view
We rely in our wine storage fridges on LEDs that guarantee consistent illumination of the interior but do not contain UV radiation. Many of our wine storage fridges have dimmable presentation lights – so you are guaranteed to showcase your wines in the best light.
Low-vibration storage
To ensure that your wines can mature gently, our engineers have developed extremely low-vibration compressors and integrated them into the wine storage fridges. The result of the vibration damping is that your wines are stored with little vibration.
Frequently asked questions about our wine storage fridges
Wine storage fridges are developed specifically for optimum storage of wines. They provide a constant climate throughout the interior to ensure ideal maturing and long-term storage. Wine storage fridges are an excellent choice for anyone who likes to drink high-quality wine that has matured for a certain period of time and wants to store large quantities of wine as if they had their own wine cellar.
By providing a constant temperature, a wine storage fridge creates the ideal conditions for storing wines in the best possible way and promoting the ageing process. In a wine tempering fridge, there are up to three zones that ensure the optimum drinking temperature for different types of wine and can be set independently of each other to the exact temperature that is required.
The temperature in a wine storage fridge should be between +5 °C and +20 °C.
We considered the "5 conditions" when we developed our wine storage fridges. You should always consider them when you decide to buy a wine storage fridge:
- Constant temperatures
- Optimum air quality thanks to activated charcoal filter
- Vibration protection thanks to low-vibration compressors
- UV protection thanks to special anti-UV glazing
- Ideal humidity of over 50%
