Aside from direct entry, our trainee programme is another opportunity for graduates to enter the world of work. Within a pre-determined period of time, graduates pass through various areas and departments. They gain a comprehensive insight into the company and will develop into entry level professionals who are able to work in a variety of roles.

Events

Networking day

  • Creating networks between the trainees is an important goal of the trainee programme. This is why the network day was created
  • All trainees worldwide meet together and get to know each other for one or two days


Final event

  • The Final event at the end of the programme also offers an opportunity to consolidate contacts, learn from each other and celebrate the completion of the trainee programme together

Sales Trainee at Liebherr-Werk Ehingen GmbH

‘After I’d completed my Masters in sales engineering, I had the opportunity to take part in a trainee programme to get to know all the different areas, departments and processes at Liebherr-Werk Ehingen GmbH. This extremely varied experience spanning different areas of the company, including construction, production, customer services, crane acceptance and, of course, sales, was hugely beneficial to my current role as Area Sales Manager for the USA and Canada. Since my trainee mentor, who was a great support to me, needed an extra sales employee in his team, it soon became clear where my eventual role would be. And my focus was soon directed to the North American markets, not least because of the two-month stay in the USA and Canada during training.
