Every four years, mining professionals from all around the world meet in Las Vegas, USA, for MINExpo INTERNATIONAL® – the biggest global event for the mining industry!
Once again, Liebherr delivered an exciting showcase of our latest products and solutions at MINExpo 2024.
At our enormous exhibition booth – measuring 2,777 m2 (over 29,000 sq. ft)! – visitors spoke with Liebherr Mining experts, explored cutting-edge products and solutions up close, gained insights into the driving forces behind our equipment, and were part of some electrifying announcements!

It also means working with our customers as partners to create solutions for the mine site of the future and redefining the limits of what is possible.
Unveiling the future of mining
At MINExpo 2024, we made history by announcing the single largest equipment deal in the entire 75-year history of the Liebherr Group. This deal includes zero emission technology jointly developed by Liebherr and Fortescue that will pave the way for decarbonised mining operations. The technology we will develop with Fortescue includes an autonomous, battery-electric T 264 which was unveiling for the first time at MINExpo; battery dozers; and an Autonomous Haulage Solution. The deal also includes 475 Liebherr zero emission machines: 360 battery-electric T 264 trucks, 55 R 9400 E electric excavators and – once the technology has been developed – 60 battery PR 776 dozers.
