BioFresh for long-term freshness

A fridge with double doors offers you plenty of storage space for all the things you enjoy most. To ensure that fruit and vegetables, as well as meat or fish, feel right at home inside, we have developed the intelligent BioFresh freshness technology. This means that each food item is stored compartment by compartment in the optimum climate conditions – from high humidity and a temperature of just above 0°C to icy cold at -2°C.

Side-by-Side fridges open up whole new dimensions for the way you can store food. These fridges and freezers have a generous capacity and can be equipped with numerous practical functionalities such as an IceMaker. They owe their name to the way they are divided. They essentially consist of two "sides" with their own doors, one serving as a fridge and the other as a freezer compartment. With Liebherr, you can experience much greater flexibility with the smart Side-by-Side concepts. All appliances can be freely combined and stacked – from a fridge and freezer to a wine appliance or full-space BioFresh. Your personal freshness centre is waiting for you.

Thanks to the clever layout and the numerous combination options, you always retain an overview in a Side-by-Side fridge-freezer, you can find what you're looking for faster, and you have unhindered access. Opening the different sections separately ensures that constant temperatures can be maintained in each section. Side-by-Side fridges have a large capacity to accommodate all the things you love to enjoy. Wine lovers are also guaranteed to get their money's worth with a Side-by-Side wine fridge. The timeless design is helping to make Side-by-Side double-door fridge-freezers increasingly popular.

Since 1 March 2021, many electrical appliances, including Side-by-Side fridges, have carried the new EU energy label. The energy classes are now clearly divided into A to G, which means you can instantly see the model’s energy efficiency. The categories A+, A++ and A+++ have been dropped. In our Side-by-Side fridges, we have integrated both our freshness technologies in the fridge and our freshness technologies in the freezer compartment. With BioFresh, NoFrost, PowerCooling and SuperFrost, your food stays fresher for longer with low energy consumption. In addition, you can choose Side-by-Side appliances with an IceMaker (Side-by-Side with a plumbed-in connection), the EasyTwist-Ice system (Side-by-Side without a plumbed-in connection) or an InfinitySpring water dispenser – whatever you prefer.

Side-by-Side fridges come in different dimensions, so you can find one that fits your kitchen perfectly. The width of a Side-by-Side fridge starts at 100 cm and goes up to 149 cm. In terms of height, you can choose from 150 cm to 200 cm, while the depth ranges from 65 cm to 80 cm. Depending on your requirements, they offer a capacity of 600 litres to 1,000 litres.
