A hydraulic retaining clamp for drilling diameters of 2000 mm is used in order to prevent unintended dropping while the casings are extracted and uncoupled from the drill string. The hydraulic retaining clamps are driven either by the carrier machine or by a separate power pack. Various adapters are available.
