The 5-axle crane is the most powerful MK in the current series. It delivers a hook height of up to 94.4 m and a large reach. This means it can be used to retrofit radio masts at great heights, for example.

Silent with zero emissionsThe MK generates no emissions and no noise if a site power supply is available for it. After travelling to the site, the undercarriage is shut down for crane operations. The high performance frequency converter drive units fitted on these cranes enable you to work in compliance with all the regulations at night or in densely populated areas, in particular. And it also benefits the environment.

Smart power management Hoisting despite low power supply requirements. If the only available energy source is 32 A, MK mobile construction cranes can still operate properly, thanks to their smart energy management.

Energy dispenser When acting as the heart of the site, the MK not only distributes loads, but also power. Connections for outside consumers can be used to power various other construction machines.

Low consumption and low maintenance Plug in and hoist. Operation using the existing site power supply is particularly simple and economical. No additional costs are incurred for diesel and the time for refuelling is also eliminated.

Independent: As it features a high efficiency 48 kVa diesel-powered generator, the MK can be operated normally even without any infrastructure.

Considerate: We have even thought about sensitive ears – Just 70 dB (A) outside the prohibited zone makes a very clear point – but does so very quietly.

Economical: An average of just 5 litres per hour makes crane operations particularly economical.

Simple: A very simple concept – switch on the unit and start work! No modifications required.

If there is insufficient or no on-site power available, Liebherr's mobile battery-based energy storage system Liduro Power Port (LPO) is able to take over supply, so that hybrid or all-electric construction machines can be operated and charged locally with zero emissions.

The birth of the new generation of MK mobile construction cranes.

The chassis and crane configuration are a completely new development.

Inspired by the great success of the MK 80 launched in 2001, the new MK 100 was developed with a five-axle chassis and a jib length of 52 m.

With the 45° super luffed position of the jib, the first of its kind on a mobile construction crane, the MK 63 achieves a hook height of 47.9 m, unique for this time in this crane class. Furthermore, this model also featured a remote diagnostic facility by data transfer.

The new MK 88 set new standards in terms of size, equipment and performance in the four-axle class. A larger crane configuration enabled the maximum values for hook height and radius to be significantly increased.

The MK 140 is a compact five-axle model which opens up a whole new dimension of performance in this crane class. Performance which previously was only possible from higher axle classes. The real highlight of this product is its special “luffing mode”. This mode enables a luffed jib position of up to 70°.

Liebherr has updated its existing four-axle crane and will present the new MK 88-4.1 at Bauma 2019. The additional number at the end of the product name reflects the 4 axles and that it is the first version of this crane type. Featuring proven MK technology, this mobile construction crane is even more powerful and flexible than its predecessor. This is especially evident in a luffed jib position.

The newly developed 3-axle crane combines the advantages of the MK concept: That is why the small and compact mobile construction crane stands out with its manoeuvrability and extremely quick readiness for use. Its particularly environmentally friendly Hybrid Power Concept in connection with one engine for travel and operation saves service time and costs.

Our most powerful mobile construction crane, the optimised MK 140-5.1, is making its first public appearance at the construction machinery trade fair in Munich. The Hybrid power concept and HVO refuelling enable an environmentally responsible operation.
