More safety on the road: Liebherr wins ESTA Award in the Safety category

The winners of the ESTA Awards of Excellence 2025 were announced at an awards ceremony in Munich on 10 April. Liebherr was honoured in the Safety category for the introduction of driver assistance systems for mobile cranes: These systems ensure greater safety in road traffic and focus in particular on protecting vulnerable road users such as pedestrians and cyclists. Liebherr is the first mobile crane manufacturer to introduce these driver assistance systems.

ESEASA expands fleet for projects throughout Mexico

The Mexican heavy lifting company ESEASA has taken delivery of five new Liebherr mobile cranes – including two LTM 1650-8.1, two LTM 1400-6.1 and one LTM 1250-5.1. The machines will be used in the wind industry, in the oil and gas sector and on road and infrastructure projects throughout Mexico.

Quigley Crane Services Ltd. has ordered three Liebherr mobile cranes at Bauma 2025: With one new LTM 1300-6.4, LTM 1150-5.4 and LTM 1120-4.2 each, the Northern Irish crane hire company now has a total of seven cranes currently in their fleet.

Liebherr is pushing ahead with the modernisation of the crane technology and is presenting the latest generation of the 150-tonne crane, the LTM 1150-5.4. As part of the introduction of the new LICCON3 control system, the tried-and-tested LTM 1150-5.3 has been further developed. The 5-axle crane now shines not only with state-of-the-art technology, but also with the trend-setting crane design of the new series. In addition, the LTM 1150-5.4 is equipped with new driver assistance systems to increase driving safety on the road. "Zero emissions, full power": Liebherr LTM 1150-5.4E mobile crane with electric drive

At Bauma 2025, Liebherr is presenting the LTM 1150-5.4, which has been converted to the new LICCON3 control system generation. A particular highlight is the LTM 1150-5.4E variant with electric drive, which allows the crane movements to be performed emissions-free and with reduced noise pollution. With an integrated battery, the crane can work autonomously for up to four hours without a power connection, and a low connected load on the construction site is sufficient to utilise the crane's full power, as the battery acts as an efficient buffer. The LTM 1150-5.4E meets the requirements of "Zero Emissions Construction Sites" and combines sustainability with maximum efficiency.

Less weight for heavy lifting: Liebherr LTM 1055-3.3 mobile crane takes mobility to a new level

Liebherr presents the lightest 3-axle all-terrain crane on the market at Bauma. The LTM 1055-3.3 redefines mobility, because complex and restrictive driving permits are a thing of the past. Low axle loads and gross vehicle weights enable comprehensive long-term driving permits on a large number of markets worldwide. Despite the lightweight design of the new 55-tonne crane, it offers high lifting capacities with its 40-metre telescopic boom, especially for medium and large radii.

Schlamann-Autokrane GmbH has taken delivery of a new Liebherr LTM 1300-6.3. With the new crane, the North German crane company based in Nienburg is entering the 6-axle mobile crane class. At 90 metres, the LTM 1300-6.3 has a very long telescopic boom, which is predestined for applications in the field of infrastructure expansion, such as the installation of electricity pylons. The long-standing partnership with Liebherr was another important criterion in the purchase decision.

Two new Liebherr 5-axle cranes in the Dominican Republic: Grupo Modesto takes delivery of an LTM 1150-5.3 and an LTM 1230-5.1

The Dominican crane, heavy haulage and construction company Grupo Modesto, S.A. has purchased two new Liebherr mobile cranes. The LTM 1150-5.3 and LTM 1230-5.1 will primarily be used for industrial construction in the metropolitan region of Santo Domingo. Strong performance, long telescopic booms and innovative technical features were key criteria for the decision to invest in new mobile cranes.

Three new Liebherr cranes for Bahrain: Haji Hassan Cranes modernises its fleet
