9 must-see giants at Liebherr’s booth at Bauma
Under the motto ‘Hands on the future’, Liebherr will be showcasing solutions for the construction sites of the future at Bauma 2025. Discover over 70 exhibits and a variety of individual solutions at Liebherr’s 14,000 m2 booth – including these nine giants that you absolutely must see.

LG 1800-1.0 lattice boom crane
The mobile and crawler cranes area is hosting one of the largest exhibits on show anywhere at Bauma: the LG 1800-1.0 lattice boom crane This combines the advantages of a mobile crane with the load capacity of a lattice boom crane. At the exhibition, it is fitted with a 102 metre long boom, making it a real head-turner. As one of the world’s strongest lattice boom cranes on wheels, the LG 1800-1.0 lifts up to 800 tonnes – meaning it can do just as much as its crawler crane counterpart, the LR 1800-1.0. The LG 1800-1.0 has state-of-the-art crane technologies at its disposal for this, such as V-Frame®, VarioTray®, the ZF Traxon Torque transmission as well as ECOdrive and WindSpeed load charts.

520 EC-B 20 Fibre top-slewing crane
The 520 EC-B 20 Fibre top-slewing crane, which combines many outstanding properties, can also be found at the Bauma booth. The Liebherr 520 EC-B 20 Fibre is a powerful flat-top crane that offers an increased load capacity thanks to its Fibre design. The innovative fibre rope means the rope and hook block are lighter, which increases the maximum lifting capacity and reduces wear. With a maximum load capacity of 20 tonnes and a peak load capacity of 2.9 tonnes at a jib length of 83 metres, the crane impresses with its efficiency and flexibility. Optimised transport solutions and smart operating systems make handling easier. Perfect for demanding construction sites with high load requirements.

T 264 Battery Electric mining truck
An impressive machine on the Liebherr booth is the autonomous, battery-electric T 264 mining truck, which demonstrates the successful collaboration between Liebherr and Fortescue and the seamless integration of autonomy with zero emission solutions. Equipped with a 3.2 MW battery power module developed by Fortescue Zero, the truck supports both static and dynamic charging, with demonstrations planned for Bauma. The fast-charging solution delivers up to 6 MW, enabling the T 264 to fully charge under an hour. Additionally, the truck is controlled by a Fleet Management System (FMS), which incorporates an Energy Management System designed to optimise charging efficiency and eliminate on-site queuing.

R 9400 E mining excavator
The R 9400 E 350-tonne electric excavator will also be on display at this year’s Bauma, showcasing Liebherr’s commitment to decarbonisation. This machine reflects over 40 years of Liebherr’s expertise in electric excavator development and manufacturing while incorporating the latest innovations from the mining product segment. The excavator on display is also equipped with Liebherr’s cable reel solution, which offers up to 300 metres of autonomous cable management to enhance manoeuvrability and ensure efficient cable management for increased operational flexibility.

Mobilmix 4.0 mixing plant
In the outdoor area for the concrete technology product segment, Liebherr is showcasing the new Mobilmix series to the public for the first time. And, at Bauma, you can even discover the largest variant, with a 4 m³ twin-shaft mixer. This modular construction system gives customers more freedom in plant configuration, as well as shorter delivery times, faster assembly and high parts availability. By using LiPerformance process optimisation, power consumption can be reduced by approx. 25 %. The precise dosing of cement is another outstanding feature of the new Liebherr concrete mixing plants, which can save up to 8 kg of cement per cubic metre of concrete.

LH 60 M High Rise Port E material handling machine
The impressive LH 60 M High Rise Port E material handling machine can be seen on Liebherr Square. The machine is specially designed for handling bulk and general cargo in port handling and is characterised by very high loads and long reach. Thanks to the electric drive concept and the powerful electric motor, the machine operates emission-free and particularly quietly and impresses with low operating and maintenance costs. The weight-optimised equipment ensures powerful loading processes and maximum efficiency in port handling. In addition, the modular design enables customised solutions for a wide range of requirements.

LR 1400.1 SX crawler crane
Probably the tallest exhibit on Liebherr Square, the LR 1400.1 SX. The crawler crane with derrick equipment and suspended counterweight is designed for heavy lifting operations and long boom configurations. The suspended counterweight consists of a main and an additional counterweight, and can be adjusted using an infinitely variable hydraulic extension device. VarioTray allows additional counterweight to be flexibly increased or reduced with 10.1 tonne counterweight slabs depending on the requirements – without an auxiliary crane. Monitoring the position of suspended counterweight ensures maximum safety during operation. If the counterweight is set down on the ground, it is not possible to turn or travel with the crane, or to move the counterweight.

PR 776 eighth generation crawler dozer
At Bauma 2025, Liebherr is presenting the eighth generation of its flagship mining dozer, the PR 776 crawler dozer, fully equipped for demanding mining and quarry operations. With a total weight of 73 tonnes, it is a true heavyweight. But it's not just its power that makes it so special, but also its smart technology such as the Liebherr remote control system "LiReCon". This also increases efficiency and user-friendliness. With an average fuel consumption of 38 litres per hour, Liebherr is also setting new standards for efficient material transport with this crawler dozer.

R 998 SME Litronic
The R 998 SME crawler excavator is the largest machine developed and produced by Liebherr-France SAS in Colmar, France. With an operating weight of over 100 tonnes and an output of 420 kW / 571 hp, this crawler excavator is suitable for the most demanding applications. At the Liebherr booth at Bauma, the R 998 SME can be found in a customer-specific colour and with a special configuration for use in the demolition sector.
But it is not just maximum performance and size that are important. With a larger double-digit number of exhibits – some of which are listed above – with zero-emission or low-emission drive concepts, the Liebherr Group is also proving at Bauma that performance and environmental compatibility do not have to be mutually exclusive. Whether battery-electric, grid-connected, hydrogen-powered or HVO-compatible machines: at Liebherr, we work with an open-minded approach to reach the solution that best suits the respective requirement – from battery-electric or grid-powered mining trucks and excavators for construction or mining, so-called ‘unplugged’ crawler cranes or deep foundation machines, through to wheel loaders with hydrogen engines and mobile energy storage systems for charging electric machines. At the Liebherr booth, you can discover our entire range of state-of-the-art drive technologies that not only meet our customers’ needs, but also the standards we have set ourselves for environmental responsibility.
