About the RoleThe Maritime Cargo and Construction division has a great opportunity due for an experienced Technical Advisor. In this role you will be responsible for the provision of high-level technical information and support to the Division and its Customers and will be the key contact in relation to equipment/system performance and trend analysis. The Technical Advisor provides an interface between the Factory (MCC) and other service and support functions within the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert technical advice and support on range of Liebherr-Maritime Cargo and Construction Products
- Liaising with the factory to resolve technical concerns.
- Monitoring and analysis on equipment performance
- Deliver training associated with technical information.
- Planning of technician pool in co-ordination with Services Coordinators
- Contribute to managing the WIP.
- Support of commissioning jobs
- Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers.
About You
- Trade qualifications in mechatronic or a combination of electric, electronic, mechanic and hydraulic technologies
- 5+ years’ experience as a Service Technician with at least 3 years’ experience working with both Construction & Harbour Mobile Machines.
- Experience with part lists, preparing quotes and order administration.
- Shows capability in creating a sense of partnership and forging strong relationships.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Hold a current driver’s license.
