Technical Lead Engineer - Defence (w/m/x)Bulle
Your Responsibilities
- You bear the technical responsibility for the development of combustion engines for defence application, from conception through validation to series release and vehicle integration (sign-off) to technical sales
- You lead the technical team dedicated to the projects for the defence application, defining, developing and acquiring the required core competencies and resources
- You ensure the right organizational structure for the efficient management of defence projects
- You define technical project structures according to the requirements of defence projects
- You define and set up the required tools and methods based on the requirements of defence projects, e.g. FRACAS, ILS and ensure a continuous product improvement process
- You define the requirements for the stakeholders supporting your team in the projects, e.g. electronics, simulation, etc.
- You establish and develop a mindset and culture aligned with the defence constraints and requirements
- You evaluate, respond to and implement customer requirements in coordination with engineering requirements (technical sales) and support sales at the customer interface during project initiation and project implementation
- You provide support in supplier selection
Your profile
- You possess multiple years of experience in a leadership position in the development of combustion engines for defence applications
- You bring a solid experience in project management and system integration within defence projects as well as methods required for the successful implementation of defence projects
- You enjoy working in multicultural teams and are recognized for your strong communication and motivational skills
- You demonstrate strong assertiveness to strengthen both internal and customer-oriented processes
- You are proficient in English
