A vacancy has arisen within our Refrigeration department based in Biggleswade for an Area Sales Manager – Domestic Refrigeration. The role contributes to the success of the Liebherr-Great Britain Ltd by improving the distribution of the Liebherr range of refrigeration within the nominated accounts whilst ensuring outstanding customer service at all times whilst working within the Company’s key result areas, Business Performance, Customer Focus, People and Teamwork, Leadership.

Your responsibilities as a Area Sales Manager:

•    To ensure Liebherr models are included in key customer promotional campaigns at core trading periods throughout the year
•    To identify and implement core training and development programs to ensure customer staff fully understands the benefits of the Liebherr range
•    To be involved in the development of new accounts to grow the number of stockists of Liebherr products
•    To improve the distribution of the Liebherr range of refrigeration to grow value and volume on an ongoing basis with current live and dormant accounts
•    To journey/call plan quarterly in advance and to maintain daily activity reports using the current company nominated reporting tool
•    To take a strategic view of the nominated territory and to work in a time efficient manner
•    To widen the influence of Liebherr by ensuring a strong relationship with all customers
•    To attend trade shows and client meetings as and when required
•    To always gather and feedback competitor information
•    To always ensure that company policies are followed
•    To merchandise Liebherr machines as and when required

Your profile to be successful as a Area Sales Manager:

The successful candidate will require the following:


•    Able to demonstrate previous experience in a similar role or industry.
•    Able to demonstrate a passion for sales coupled with excellent results.
•    Outstanding communication skills and can demonstrate how this has been used effectively in a team environment.
