Liebherr-Werk Nenzing GmbH converts to HVO fuel
Since August 2024, the Liebherr factory in Nenzing, Austria, has switched to HVO fuel for the machines it produces. The big advantage in using this instead of fossil diesel is that it is largely CO2 neutral. The company is thus making an important contribution to reducing global greenhouse gas emissions. The HVO fuel is now also being used in the factory’s supply chain.

At the end of October, around 30 visitors came together at the premises of Saudi Liebherr Company in Dammam to experience an exclusive demonstration of the MK 140 mobile construction crane. The event was organised by Saudi Liebherr Company in collaboration with ACT Group Co., a leading provider of crane services in Saudi Arabia. ACT invited customers from the petrochemical industry to the event to give them a first-hand look at the benefits of this innovative crane concept.

90 metre telescopic boom: Weise strengthens its crane fleet with LTM 1300-6.3
Schwerlast Weise GmbH has taken delivery of a new Liebherr LTM 1300-6.3 mobile crane. The 300-tonne crane strengthens the fleet of the Thuringian crane and logistics company, which will be celebrating its 35th anniversary next year. An important decision criterion was the 6-axle mobile crane's 90-metre telescopic boom, which enables the assembly of construction cranes and electricity pylons without lattice jibs, for example.

Liebherr Tower Cranes and John Paul Construction celebrate 50 years of partnership
Irish construction company John Paul Construction is celebrating two anniversaries this year: its 75th anniversary and 50 years of partnership with Liebherr. Representatives from the Liebherr family shareholders and Liebherr-Werk Biberach GmbH travelled to the Emerald Isle to mark the occasion. Liebherr tower cranes supplied by John Paul Construction are currently in use on two major construction sites in Dublin.

Support for Lewandowska: A new Liebherr LG 1800-1.0 lattice boom mobile crane is going to Poland

ESEASA takes delivery of the first LR 1700-1.0W narrow-track crawler crane in Latin America
The Mexican crane and heavy haulage company ESEASA has taken delivery of a new Liebherr LR 1700-1.0W. It is the first crane of this type in Latin America. In addition to the narrow travel gear, which mainly offers advantages in wind farms, ESEASA has also ordered the wide standard travel gear. The crane also comes with a variety of boom configurations, providing maximum flexibility and making it ideal for use in industrial applications as well.

Fast and efficient Liebherr hydraulic excavators renovate taxiway at Hamburg Airport
Things had to move quickly on Hamburg Airport's taxiway D1. After all, the interruption to flight operations on the affected taxiway had to be short-lived and the renovation work had to be carried out as quickly as possible. Just the right task for Liebherr’s hydraulic excavators. KEMNA BAU Andreae GmbH & Co KG relied on six Liebherr machines for the work, which were hired from Liebherr-Mietpartner GmbH. In addition to four wheeled excavators of the A 918, A 918 Compact and A 920 models, two R 920 Compact crawler excavators were also used. Thanks to the coordinated efforts of KEMNA BAU Andreae GmbH & Co KG and the perfect interaction of the Liebherr machines, the construction site was completed ahead of schedule.

MSG expands large crane fleet with Liebherr
MSG Krandienst GmbH, based in the Franco-German border region near Strasbourg, is expanding its fleet of large cranes with two modern machines from the Liebherr plant in Ehingen. An LTM 1300-6.3 was received a few days ago. This will be followed in February by an LTM 1650-8.1 with extensive equipment and the two telescopic boom variants with lengths of 54 and 80 metres. The company with the distinctive blue cranes believes it is well positioned to meet the requirements of the cross-border Alsace-Baden region.
