Do you thrive on tackling complex technical challenges and building strong customer relationships? Liebherr-Australia is searching for a passionate Technical Support Specialist to join our National Team! As a key player, you'll drive equipment uptime, reduce maintenance costs, and enhance overall customer satisfaction by diagnosing and resolving intricate technical issues related to Liebherr mining trucks, ensuring smooth operations for our customers. Liebherr-Australia is growing as a global OEM, committed to delivering exceptional customer service. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our factory, field service teams, and customers to identify root causes of equipment failures, implement corrective actions, and optimise equipment performance. Reporting to the General Manager Technical Support - Mining, you will be supported to build your knowledge and become a valued advisor in the delivery of support for Mining products.

Here's a glimpse into your day-to-day tasks:

•    Reliability Analysis: Conduct in-depth failure analysis, root cause investigations, and implement corrective actions to improve equipment reliability and availability.
•    Technical Expertise: Leverage your knowledge to provide expert support, troubleshoot faults, and deliver solutions for reliability and performance issues.
•    Data-Driven Solutions: Leverage data analytics to identify trends, predict potential failures, and optimise maintenance strategies, practicing effective documentation and monitoring, focused on equipment modifications, reliability, and availability.
•    Factory Collaboration: Work closely with Liebherr's engineering teams to share field data, provide feedback on product performance, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
•    Customer Focus: Build long-lasting relationships with customers, providing technical guidance, troubleshooting support, and reliability improvement recommendations.
•    Knowledge Sharer: Mentor and coach on-site technicians, fostering a team environment of continuous learning.

What we look for in our specialists?

•    Proven customer-facing experience across all levels of stakeholders.
•    An engineering qualification in electrical, mechanical systems, with a focus on reliability and maintenance.
•    Excellent analytical skills and a data-driven approach to problem-solving.
•    Critical thinker with high level skills in data interpretation and root cause analysis.
•    Passion for new and emerging technologies.
•    Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
•    A passion for continuous improvement and a desire to exceed customer expectations.
•    A valid driver's license and relevant industry experience are a plus.
