At this year’s NBAA-BACE, which takes place from October 22 to 24 in Las Vegas, NV (USA), Liebherr-Aerospace will be represented at booth 2213. On display will be state-of-the-art systems and components such as modular electro-mechanical actuators, a nose landing gear as well as air humidification technology for comfort on board.

La plus grande commande dans l’histoire du Groupe Liebherr : 475 machines destinées à l’entreprise minière Fortescue

Il s’agit de la plus grande commande de l’histoire de Liebherr en 75 ans. Le 24 septembre 2024, lors du salon MINExpo à Las Vegas (États-Unis), le Groupe Liebherr et son partenaire australien Fortescue ont signé un contrat pour le développement conjoint et la livraison de 475 machines Liebherr. Cette commande, d’une valeur d’environ 2,5 milliards d’euros, comprend 360 camions autonomes à batterie, 55 pelles électriques et 60 bouteurs électriques à batterie, destinés aux mines de Fortescue en Australie. Toutes ces machines, ainsi qu’un grand nombre de composants clés et d’électronique embarquée, sont développés, produits et entretenus sur les six sites du Groupe en Allemagne, en France, en Autriche, aux États-Unis et en Australie.

Liebherr presents the A 922 railroad excavator at Innotrans 2024

Liebherr is presenting the A 922 Rail Litronic at Innotrans 2024. Because it is a railroad machine, the A 922 Rail is suitable for use on railway tracks and for road construction and is fast thanks to the mobile undercarriage. A rail travel drive is mounted on both sides of the undercarriage. When entering the rails, the rail travel drive lifts the tyres to rail height. The inside wheels of the dual tyres ensure travel of the excavator on the tracks.

New Liebherr mobile cranes for Scotland

To mark its 20th anniversary, Stoddart Crane Hire gave itself a special gift: just in time for its planned summer celebrations, the Scottish crane service provider put a new Liebherr LTM 1150-5.3 mobile crane into operation. The family-run business, based in Muir of Ord, west of Inverness and about 10 kilometres from the famous Loch Ness, has made a name for itself as a crane service provider on Scotland's islands, among other areas.
