Join Our Team as an Engineering Graduate!Liebherr-Australia, a leading OEM in the mining equipment industry, is looking for an Engineering Graduate or an Engineer currently enrolled in a Graduate program seeking an exciting new opportunity to join our team in Perth, Western Australia. About the Role:As an Engineering Graduate, you will work with the Technical Services Group, focusing on tasks related to machine reliability, preparing detailed technical reports, and analysing data from production trucks. You'll also play a key role in contributing to the efficient operation of our fleet of Mining trucks. This position offers you the opportunity to enhance both your technical expertise and interpersonal skills, enabling you to effectively support the business and apply your engineering knowledge in a practical setting.
Responsibilities
- Utilize data analysis tools to evaluate and interpret data, ensuring accurate and insightful conclusions that inform decision-making processes.
- Develop detailed reports on machine reliability, specifically focusing on production trucks at client mine sites, to support continuous operational efficiency.
- Provide thorough technical reporting to the Factory and relevant stakeholders
- Taking ownership of projects within the Technical Services Group
- Proactively identify and implement opportunities for process improvements, contributing to the overall enhancement of operational practices and efficiencies
Skills and Experience
- Students who have recently completed a bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering.
- Demonstrated verbal communication skills and report writing skills.
- Demonstrated numerical and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with reliability maintenance approaches.
- Passion for learning new things, enthusiasm, sense of pride, high attention to detail.
- Open to interstate and international travel.
- Positive attitude, problem solver and a commitment to safety
- Basic understanding of hydraulic drawings will be highly regarded.
- Familiarity with Microsoft office suite.
- Prior experience or involvement in automotive industries, mining industries or heavy machinery industries is highly regarded.
