ICT Support Engineer - Level 1Sydney

About the Role

As a key member of a small dynamic team and reporting to the Team Lead - ICT Operation, you will be responsible for the provision of timely and efficient IT support services to the business on a national scale. The role will suit a service-oriented person who is composed, patient, proactive, and quick to learn, capable of handling multiple inquiries and issues while providing prompt responses and accurate results.

Key Responsibilities

• Provision of IT support services, level 1 tickets
• Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, servers, networks, printers, and scanners
• Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks
• Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests
• Providing technical support to the branch (this may be in person or over the phone)
• Keep inventory of all equipment, software, and license users.
• Testing new technology and training users
• Active participation in the implementation of new IT solutions and services

About you

• 2 years Helpdesk experience preferred
• Diploma in Information Technology is preferred
• Intermediate computer hardware and software installation skills
• Advanced problem-solving skills
• Knowledge in the distribution and disposal of classified data/documents/devices
• Determining customer needs and establishing service solutions and forecasts
• Maintains a positive and optimistic attitude
• Communicates effectively and appropriately with others
