Drilling assistant

for continuous flight auger (CFA), double rotary, full displacement and Kelly drilling methods

The perfect cast-in-place pile

The drilling assistant regulates the crowd force and speed of the rope crowd system. This is matched to the speed and torque of the rotary drive. Even during subsequent extraction and simultaneous concreting the automatic control system takes over and also ensures that the optimum amount of concrete is filled. The result is a high-quality cast-in-place pile.

Optimum amount of concrete

The correct match between the extraction speed and the amount of concrete filled is decisive for the required pile diameter in this method.

Automatic control system

Once activated, the drilling process runs automatically. The values, preselected by the operator, are held constant by the control system. The parameters can also be adjusted during the drilling process.

Controlled drilling

The speed and the torque of the rotary drive as well as the crowd force are perfectly matched during drilling. Through appropriate parameters the progress of the drill can be adapted to suit the soil conditions.

Your benefits:

  • The auger is optimally filled and the pile diameter remains constant.
  • Jamming or sticking of the drilling tool (corkscrew effect) is avoided.
  • Takes the load of the operator: the drilling process runs automatically.
  • This protects the machine and equipment as the torque and crowd force are adapted to suit the soil conditions.

Automatic extraction and concreting

During simultaneous extraction and concreting through the hollow stem, the control system adjusts the extracting speed and both the amount and pressure of the concrete accordingly.

  • The diameter and load-bearing capacity of the pile correspond exactly to the specifications.
  • It is also possible to install a pile with a defined thread pitch.
