Liebherr Inspects Air Conditioning Systems on Behalf of CFTA Rhônexpress
Liebherr-Transportation Systems was awarded a contract by French operator CFTA Rhônexpress to inspect the air conditioning systems in the Stadler Tango trams in Lyon and to develop a solution to ensure the performance and reliability of the air conditioning systems made by a third-party supplier - also in case of major outdoor temperature differences.
If the test phase is completed successfully, the passenger areas and drivers’ cabs throughout the fleet will be re-equipped accordingly by summer 2017.
“We are very proud of this project”, says Eléonor Borrallo-Gautier, Head of French Site, Liebherr-Transportation Systems GmbH & Co KG in Paris. “It shows that our customers value the quality of our services and place their trust in us. I am convinced that, with our expertise and technology, we will be able to make a major contribution to improving traveling comfort for the Rhônexpress passengers.”
