Leipzig-based crane company I&H chooses Liebherr for fleet modernisation with five new mobile cranes

  • Fleet modernisation: I&H, based in the Leipziger Land region, has taken delivery of five new Liebherr mobile cranes.
  • Liebherr quality: the decision in favour of Liebherr emphasises I&H's focus on reliability and modern technology.
  • Ongoing modernisation programme: I&H is planning further investments to adapt its fleet to the demanding requirements of the construction industry.

I&H Kran-Transport-Montageservice GmbH has taken delivery of five new mobile cranes from Liebherr. The family business based in the Leipziger Land region is thus modernising its vehicle fleet. Liebherr's reputation for high quality and reliable service were key factors in I&H's decision.

I&H, a family business based in the Leipziger Land region, focuses on quality and modernity in terms of its fleet. Founded in 2002, the company has made a name for itself in the crane hire sector and is currently implementing a major modernisation programme for its fleet.

Two months ago, I&H took delivery of an LTM 1030-2.1 and an LTM 1070-4.2 from Liebherr. In mid-December, owner and Managing Director Michael Ide and Operations Manager Nils Laumann travelled to the manufacturer's plant in Ehingen to collect three more new Liebherr mobile cranes, an LTM 1050-3.1, an LTM 1060-3.1 and an LTM 1250-5.1.

The decision in favour of Liebherr cranes underlines I&H's focus on reliability and modern technology. A total of five new Liebherr mobile cranes will upgrade its fleet and replace older machines. Operations Manager Laumann emphasises: "Above all, we expect a high level of reliability from the new cranes. Liebherr is known for this in the industry, as well as for its fast supply of spare parts and outstanding service. The local Liebherr branch in Alt-Bork, not far from Berlin, supports us very well in this regard."

More Liebherr mobile cranes for demanding construction projects

I&H is planning to use the LTM 1250-5.1 specifically for precast concrete assembly work thanks to its powerful telescopic boom. The LTM 1050-3.1 and LTM 1060-3.1 models are intended for flexible use in the taxi crane business as well as for repairs and maintenance work in opencast mining.

However, the modernisation of its fleet is not yet complete – additional Liebherr mobile cranes will follow in the future. I&H is thus committed to building an advanced and efficient fleet in order to meet the demanding requirements of the construction industry. The company, which has around 20 employees, currently operates 12 mobile cranes.
