New Liebherr mobile cranes for Scotland

To mark its 20th anniversary, Stoddart Crane Hire gave itself a special gift: just in time for its planned summer celebrations, the Scottish crane service provider put a new Liebherr LTM 1150-5.3 mobile crane into operation. The family-run business, based in Muir of Ord, west of Inverness and about 10 kilometres from the famous Loch Ness, has made a name for itself as a crane service provider on Scotland's islands, among other areas. Liebherr presents its latest mining technology at MINExpo 2024

Modern cranes for Mexico: Magruber counts on Liebherr

Over the past two years, the Mexican crane company Magruber has acquired six new mobile cranes from Liebherr. With lifting capacities ranging between 120 and 230 tonnes, these versatile and powerful cranes are perfectly suited for a variety of tasks in Mexico City, where the company is headquartered. The MK 120-5.1 is the latest addition to Liebherr’s mobile construction crane range. The five-axle machine bridges the gap between the MK 88-4.1 and the MK 140-5.1. Nine out of twelve delivered – the German Federal Agency for Technical Relief places its trust in Liebherr compact cranes

The German Federal Agency for Technical Relief (THW) placed an order with Liebherr for twelve LTC 1050-3.1 mobile cranes. Liebherr has already delivered nine cranes to various local organisations. THW President Sabine Lackner says: “Cranes are an indispensable tool for the specialist bridge construction groups. They enable THW personnel to lift heavy bridge elements and assemble them into structures that can reach spans of over 80 metres. The fact that THW has erected over three dozen temporary bridges in the past three years shows how important these vehicles are.” Find out more
