Liebherr enters Kazakh railway market with air-conditioning units

Liebherr Transportation Systems (China) Co., Ltd. will supply 550 HVAC systems to the rail vehicle manufacturer Stadler Rail Group. The air-conditioning systems are to be installed until 2030 in sleeper and couchette coaches ordered by the Federal Railways of Kazakhstan (KTZ). Find out more

18 Liebherr cranes involved in replacing Germany’s second longest road bridge

The Rader High Bridge spans the Kiel Canal along Germany’s A7 motorway, the northbound high-speed link from Hamburg to Denmark. The bridge is to be replaced and widened over the next few years. 18 Liebherr cranes, ranging from the 65 K.1 to the 150 EC-B, are taking care of the lifting work. Slurry wall construction in Naples

The company SAOS s.r.l. constructs slurry walls for infrastructure projects such as underground railways, road tunnels and high-speed railway lines throughout Italy. The duty cycle crawler crane HS 8130.1 with the cutter LSC 8-18 from Liebherr has been working on the "Parco San Paolo" underground station in the Campanian capital of Naples for over a year. A major benefit for the customer is the high flexibility of the carrier machine. In just a short time the duty cycle crawler crane can be converted, for example, to grab operation. Find out more

Liebherr-Mobilmix supplies quality concrete for the wind industry

Enercon Emden originally purchased a Liebherr Kombimix 2.25 in 2005 for the production of concrete tower segments. The mixing plant has already been modified or extended several times in the past. Following the sale of the site to Bettels Betonfertigteile GmbH, production was expanded to include structural precast elements such as bridge elements. Concrete tower segments for wind power are still part of the product range. Now the existing system is to be further adapted to the new requirements. Bettels decided to install a highly mobile Mobilmix 2.5 of the latest generation from Liebherr to bridge the gap during the conversion work. Find out more

Al Askar takes delivery of 26 used Liebherr LTM cranes

Al Askar has placed a major order for young used cranes – the Saudi Arabian company ordered 26 used mobile cranes in the medium lifting capacity class from Liebherr. Whilst it is primarily a mobile crane manufacturer, Liebherr is also an expert in refurbishing used cranes to customer specifications. Liebherr acquires land in the USA for a new logistics site

In the state of Mississippi, USA Liebherr has acquired 480,000 square meters of land. The Liebherr Group plans to invest in a new logistics distribution center for spare parts to serve its customers in South and North America. In addition, the company intends to establish a campus on the site, where various business units from different product segments of the company will operate in the future. Liebherr aims to create around 180 new jobs in the region. Find out more
